I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. Today, I will be sharing 2 Easter Trees and "Bunny Land" in the Living Room....

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the top of the TV Entertainment Center for Easter this year....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

In a previous post, I shared how I decorated the Front Porch for Easter.....

And this is the reason why I do not do a lot of Easter decorating outside.....

Snow Squalls moved through yesterday afternoon....

And more are coming through from across the river....

 60's predicted for mid week!!

Typical March weather here in NEPA!

It was a busy weekend.....

Saturday evening ,we went to a Hockey game at our Arena as part of a group from our church...

I didn't get many pictures as it was crowded because it was the Saint Patrick's Day celebration!!!

This is our Mascot Tux, dressed in his kilt for Saint Patrick's Day...

Tux greeting our group of around 40, including Father Alex who sat next to me!!

Since Tux is a friend of Joe's, he honored our request to pose for pictures with the children in the group!!

We all had a great time including Father Alex, who actually played Hockey in high school.....

The following morning, on Sunday, was our monthly Sunday/Coffee/Love Family Breakfast sponsored by the Community Group in the parish that I am a member of....

I picked up tablecloths, paper plates and napkins for a Saint Patrick's Day theme.....

Once again, we bought danish, cookies and bagels from a local Bakery whose owner is a member of the parish....

You can see I also added the Saint Patrick's Day pot that I crafted as a centerpiece.....

We did get Dunkin' munchkins for the children who come up after CCD ( classrooms are in the basement)

We served Coffee, Tea, Expresso and Hot Chocolate and this time we added juice!

Between adults and children, we had between 80 - 85 people who attended!!!

Father Alex......

We were all pleased with the turn out which keeps growing!!

I had every intention of sharing the Hutch in the Living Room in this post but I honestly did not have time to take the pictures.....

I already had some pictures of the remaining 2 Trees in the Living Room so that is what I will be sharing with you today.....

I stripped down the 7 foot slim Tree to the lights, leaving the acrylic rose lights on the Tree....

I added a few sets of what are supposed to be pink LED lights but they look more purple.....

Perfect for Easter I think.....

I then added  some florals to the top along with a bow and aqua and purple deco mesh streamers......

Next I added pink beaded garland and 2 egg garlands......

I have amassed quite a collection of Easter ornaments....

Without the lights on....

With the lights on......

I am going to let the pictures do the talking because not much has changed on the Tree from previous years.......

I also decorate underneath the Tree, on a platform that my Dad made for me 45 years ago.....

 Bunny Land under the Tree....

 On the left side....

The Bunny was a yard sale find....

I bought the Easter bucket at Michael's at 90 % off in Michael's one year and filled it with Dollar Tree florals....

Joe bought the glass eggs a few years ago in Big Lot's at 90 % off and I added fairy lights to them....

This is my childhood Easter basket.....

The original ribbon bow is still on it that my Mother made....

I wrapped white tinsel garland and a set of egg lights around the handle.....

The ceramic egg in the center inside the basket was made by my MIL, who did ceramics many years ago....

And the bright purple and pink bunnies and eggs were mine as a child.....

On the right side....

Another thrifted Bunny, who is quite the Dapper Gentleman, don't you think?

Ceramic "Chocolate" Bunnies are on each side of the Easter Basket....

In the evening....

Now we will take a look at the other Easter Tree in the Living Room....

I stripped this 4 foot Tree, that I have used for Christmas and Valentine's, down to the lights, leaving the gold tinsel garland on and adding a set of those LED pink lights that look purple.....

Next, I added 2 strands of an egg garland....

I decorated it pretty much like I did the other Tree....

Topped it with a bow and streamers made from the same purple and aqua deco mesh ribbon....

I have to decorate around this entire Tree because of where it is located.....

I tucked spring florals into this Tree and the larger Tree....

Again,  I will let the pictures do the talking....

 View from the front door....

On the marble topped plant stand that this Tree rests on....

2 Easter baskets that I made out of peat pots a few years back...

This Tree will be packed away after Easter.....

On THURSDAY, I will be continuing the Tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter and will definitely be sharing the Hutch this time and a few more Easter vignettes...

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  1. Your Easter trees are as pretty as ever! Real signs of Spring! We had a weekend like your photos. I went to lunch on Saturday in a sweater - no coat. Sunday morning we had a inch of snow when I got up and we were under a "level one" advisory. This morning we had ice on the windshields and it was 59 by 11:30 when we picked one up at preschool. Wore my sweater for a church meeting at 3pm. Well, it's March!

  2. Debbie, I'm a little envious. I can hardly get my bunnies out, much less anything else Easter! That's amazing.

  3. Debbie, I love your Easter trees and all those bunnies. They are brighter and more vibrant than Christmas trees. What a fun way to decorate and welcome spring! Ps- it was about 50 sunny degrees on Sunday morning and then it hailed on Sunday afternoon. Unpredictable weather indeed!
