I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Today, I am starting my Tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter!!!

In my last post, I shared finished my Tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Today, we are moving into the Dining Room, which is my most Victorian looking room in the house....

I go with a pink color theme for Easter in the Dining Room.....

This year, I decided to use some of my pink depression glass dishes with the Easter displays this year....

I like to decorate the buffet in a Bunny Tea theme......

Last year, I made this Bunny Hat....

This year, I hung it over a Home Interiors picture here in the corner....

I left the white branch Tree on the buffet from Christmas and Valentine's and will return it to the Living Room after Easter.....

I decorated it with egg ornaments and pink carrots bought in Michael's many years ago....

I did do the buffet a bit differently this year....

I propped this sign up against the base of the Tree....

In an Anchor Hocking Oyster and Pearl pink depression glass relish dish, I placed 2 faux chocolate cupcakes....

Faux pastries on pink dessert plates.....

I bought this Bunny tea pot a long time ago at a church flea market....

On the shelf above the buffet.....

Anchor Hocking Mayfair Open Rose Pink Depression Glass Biscuit Cookie Jar

I filled it with a few chocolate faux pastries.....

The Bunny mugs also came from a church flea market....

More faux pastries in an Anchor Hocking Open Rose pink depression glass divided dish.....

Hazel Atlas Green Ribbon Depression Glass stemmed sherbet dish....

A cinnamon bun candle was placed inside of it....

A Bunny creamer that I also bought at a church flea market.....

Another plate of faux pastries....

Anchor Hocking Pink Depression Glass Queen Mary bowl...

I placed it on top of one of my "Found Treasures" that I discovered when cleaning out drawers and cupboards.....

I used some of my newer lace doilies and a runner in this display and also strung a set of battery operated lights through it...

And that is this year's Bunny Tea Buffet for Easter....

Next to the buffet is the small curio....

I also want to show you the top of the small curio today....

A Victorian Lady figurine in the Home Interiors shelf above the curio....

A vintage handkerchief on the shelf...

Top of the curio.....

A vintage styled Easter tin sign...

An Easter tin pocket planter that I bought several years ago in Micheal's for 90 % off and filled with a floral arrangement I made....

On the floor in front of the curio........

The chandy.....

I changed the shades to my Spring/Summer ones.....

I bought them many years ago in The Christmas Tree Shop and embellished them....

And hung 3 large eggs from it.....

And this is where I will leave off for today!!

In my next post on THURSDAY, I will finish up my Tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter and share how I did the Hutch differently this year....

Along with my pink Easter Tree....

  2. Your house looks so lovely all decked out for Easter! I don't usually decorate for Easter at all but this year I'm wishing I had a few pieces since it looks like we're hosting Easter dinner now (my youngest sister decided last week to come up for a visit with her family so I offered to host since we could not get into any restaurants with all 16 of us so close to Easter). I just ordered a few pink/purple table cloths this morning and am scrounging around in my craft supplies to come up with a few centerpieces.
