Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I

And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

And now for a few Personal Notes...
Can you believe it is August already???
YEAH!!!
For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....
On THURSDAYS,
I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local
cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...
I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....
Since it is SATURDAY, where have I gone and what have I been up to??
Nothing exciting.....
I am now on Day 6, with several more days to go, of purging, passing on, reorganizing, cleaning and rearranging my Craft Room....
It has not been for the faint of heart, that is for sure...
I had to get "ruthless", as another blogger called it, when it came to purging and passing on my craft stash...
I took 3 garbage bags and 4 boxes filled with satin ribbon, bridal flowers, trims, gimp, venice lace and appliques, fabric, beads, fringe, etc. to a local church for their flea market which will be held in 2 weeks...
I have a few more things for them if they hold their last drop off next week too...
I also had a tooth pulled that had a large cavity in and was causing me pain and sinus issues this Summer...
I will be sharing how mt Craft Room will look when I am done in a few weeks as I will be getting rid of a shelf unit in the room and arranging it........
But for today, I am continuing my tour of the Living Room decorated in a Coastal/Nautical theme with a color theme of peach and aqua for Late Summer.....
Let's start at the front door.....
I hung an unfinished Dollar Tree sea horse, that I dabbled with, from the curtain rod....
I brought out the bowl for the pitcher and bowl set......
And placed a few shells inside of it...
A peach and aqua ribbon bow on top of the apothecary jar on the bottom of the marble topped stand.....
I already shared my Hutch for the Summer in my last post......
So that takes us to the area by the stairs....
On the left side of the stairs....
I brought back some of my Victorian dolls....
Decorated the lenterns that are here year round with aqua and peach bows I made and some shells....
And I added this book on Angels as my Hutch is decorated in an Angel theme....
On the right side of the stairs....
A wreath I made.....
An anchor bought a long time ago in Big Lot's....
I embellished a Dollar Tree sign....
I filled some jars with sand and shells and embellished them....
I made this out of one of those glass blocks....
" A Starfish Story"
I printed it out from the computer and framed it....
" Life is a Dance"
Starfish and shells that I embellished....
I decorated the lanterns underneath the chair...
A vintage mason jar filled with shells....
I decorated my birch branch lighted Tree with ornaments that my late husband Joe bought on clearance in Big Lot's several years ago....
Butterflies....
Above the curio is a lighthouse.....
Something new hanging from a hook that once held a swag lamp over 40 years ago....
I moved the chandy that was here, and I seldom used, to another place in the Living Room, which you will see in my next post....
I bought this last year at the Home Show at our Arena.....
An air plant.... You stick it in water for a half hour every 2 weeks....
Another one of my Victorian dolls on the side of the curio....
I also want to show you something "new" to me in the hallway to the Kitchen....
This picture was painted by a friend and gifted to me.....
A "new" to me wreath, even though I made it....
I made this Natical wreath for my sister many ears ago and she gifted it back to me as she is purging her home big time!!
I actually had nothing to put here as I used everything I had in the Living Room this year.....
So I was happy to have this to use here in the hallway...
And that will be it for today......
I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY for my next post as I continue my tour of the Living Room decorated in a Coastal/Nautical theme for late Summer......
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
