And now for a few Personal Notes...

For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....

On THURSDAYS, I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...

I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....

On MONDAYS, I will be featuring What I Have Bought or Been Gifted Recently, if anything...

Since it is THURSDAY, what have I been eating lately?

Nothing really out of the ordinary except we did have Pizza from a Local Place, Grotto, to celebrate my DIL Danielle's Birthday on Tuesday....

I will be sharing that Birthday celebration on Saturday....

Yesterday on the 25th, Jersey Mike's donated 100 % of it's profits to Special Olympics so, as we have done every year since they opened up by the entrance to our development, we ordered hoagies....

My son Joey got the Giant ( 15 inch) cheese steak

And I got the regular * 7.5 inch) chicken cheese steak...
.

 So good!!

I made a decision this year that I actually have been mulling over for the last 2 years now.....

This is the pink tinsel table top Tree that I have used to decorate for Easter in the Dining Room for over 10 years....

I bought it in Walmart at 75% off for a mere $5!!

The 7 ft. slim Tree that I used here for Christmas and Winter was too big to decorate for Easter so I would pack it away, set up this round table and use this small Tree...

I also did the same with a silver tinsel Tree for Halloween......

This was the 2nd Christmas that I used my new 6ft. pencil thin Tree for Christmas and Heart Month....

I decided that I was going to keep this Tree up for Easter and pass on the pink and the silver table top Trees....

At first, I was not sure that I had enough ornaments to decorate this larger Tree and I was not going to buy any more for it.....

Well, silly me!!

I had been using a few ornaments just as decorations, like pink carrot ones that I bought a long time ago in Michael's......

But before I get to the Tree, I want to share the area around it.....

On top of this thrifted cabinet ( $5 at a yard sale), I have this Bunny tree....

I bought this tree a very long time ago in Target and it was fiberoptic....

When it stopped working, I simple wove a set of battery operated fairy lights through the branches....

On each side of it are egg boxes, bought at Michael's, that I embellished.....

On the floor in front of the cabinet, is a rocking horse that I bought at Dollar General after Christmas one year....

On the vintage window divider between the Living Room and Dining Room....

I hung a few Easter signs....

I embellished these Dollar Tree signs....

And I made this Bunny Butt sign....

Now let's get to my "new" Easter Tree in the Dining Room.....

I just have to say that I am thrilled with how this Tree came out!!!!

Let's start at the top......

My late friend Anne Marie had gifted me 2 of these sweet Bunny picks....

The other Bunny picks came from Dollar Tree......

I topped the Tree with a bow and streamers made from 2 different ribbons.....

And I hung a pink carrot and a Bunny head ornament at the top of the Tree......

Other years, I used this egg garland on my 7 ft. seasonal Tree in the Living Room.....

I left it off of that Tree this year because I actually planned to use it outside but when I decided to leave this 6 ft. pencil thin Tree up in the Dining Room and decorate it for Easter, it was a no Brainer to use this egg garland on this Tree....

I used all the ornaments that I had used on the pink Easter Tree in past years....

The pink carrot ornaments were used on my lighted branch Tree other years....

I also used a few Bunny Butt ornaments that I had made....

I bought a bag of white crosses at a church flea market....

I hung 2 stuffed Bunnies that I had previously used as decor on the Tree....

For Christmas, many year ago, I had bought white sparkly Baby's Breath picks that I have used on a Tree here in the Dining Room for Christmas and for Heart month and then packed them away.....

I left them out this year as I am shopping my own house and had planned to use them for my Patriotic Tree in the Living Room but when I decoded to leave this Tree up for Easter, I thought why not tuck them into this Tree as a filler.....

I am so very glad that I did because I honestly love how this Tree looks....

On a pedestal to the left side of the Tree.....

This sweet Bunny was a gift from a friend.....

I left the pretty tree skirt that I have had around the base of this Tree since Christmas out....

This year, I decided to place this handmade macrame basket that my Mother bought off of a co worker and gifted to me over 45 years ago, at the base of this Tree....

I added a set of fairy lights around the handle and left the original bow on it.....

I placed a Bunny from The Christmas Tree shop and eggs bought at a yard sale inside of it....

I was a bit sad when I decided to pass on my pink table top Easter Tree and the silver table top Halloween Tree but after decorating this Tree for Easter, I am totally okay with that decision now.....

Lit in the evening.....

I think it looks better than the pink Tree!!

To the right of the Tree on a marble topped plant stand....

I placed this pretty lighted cloche, that was gifted to me by my son Jim and DIL Danielle, inside of a vintage milk glass compote bowl.....

I tucked a few eggs into the floral candle ring...

An Easter sign from The Christmas Tree Shop....

I bought the handmade pink topper on EBay many years ago....

And to finish up my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter, I have a few more areas to share.....

I placed Egg boxes that I embellished inside of vintage milk glass goblets.....

I bought this lighted egg after Easter last year on clearance in Gabes.....

In the corner by the Kitchen.....

The vintage Funeral basket, that my friend Anne Marie gifted me, now with a Spring floral arrangement in it.....

The other Bunny pick and egg picks....

There is a lighted branch inside of it also....

Anne Marie also gifted me this sweet Bunny....

My Mother gifted me the pink ceramic egg and holder....

The top of the large curio, that was my late neighbor Elly's....

The Happy Easter sign was bought at Dollar Tree....

A vintage styled metal sign also gifted to me by Anne Marie....

A Bunny hat I made....

The faux window in the Dining Room.....

On the cabinet my Dad made for me to match Joe's grandmother's Dining Room set that we inherited.....

Bearington Bear Easter bunnies gifted to me by a friend.....

I placed a pink mercury glass candle holder inside of a vintage crystal compote bowl....

Funny how I found this Bunny head that matches the outfits on the Bearington Bear Easter Bunnies...

Eggs that I embellished with trim to look like crosses....

And that completes my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter this year with a "new" Easter Tree.....
