Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have

And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my last post, I shared how I decorated the TV Entertainment Center as a "mantel" for Easter this year...
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....
On THURSDAYS,
I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local
cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...
I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....
Since it is MONDAY, I an sharing a few things that I bought at Dollar Tree.....
Peach colored bottle brush trees....
And some florals that I will be using to tuck into the Seasonal Tree in the Living Room....
These are now $1.75 in Dollar Tree...
I also want to share some "found" items that I discovered as I shopped my own home this past week....
In a box up in the attic, I happened to find this vintage glass hurricane lamp shade....
The funny thing is that I can not remember where I got it which is very rare as I have been told I have a photographic memory as I usually remember where I buy things and even how much I pay for them but I have absolutely no recollection whatsoever of this piece!!
It is the perfect fit for this hob nail milk glass vintage lamp....
A FB friend thinks that my late husband Joe sent it to me and asked if the day I found it was close to a special date....
Oddly, I found it on March 8th, which was the 51st anniversary of our very first date together....
Maybe Joe did buy it and I just do not remember it...
Strange, Huh???
I also decided to bring this bird cage downstairs that I have not used in quite a few years...
I bought it many years ago in Target and it matches a small curio and a tiered tray that I have up in my bedroom....
I cleaned it up, spruced up the florals inside of it....
I will be sharing where I have put it shortly....
Today, I am continuing my tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter/Spring.....
And will be sharing the corner by the stairs.....
On the left side of the stairs......
I think my Victorian dolls remind me of the old movie " Easter Parade"
"In Your Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it"
And the Easter scene in the movie "Meet Me in St. Louis"....
I added purple and aqua deco mesh bows to the top of the lantern and added eggs inside of them.....
On the right side of the stairs.....
A wreath that I made....
I placed this Bunny that my mother gifted me over 40+ years ago in the center of the wreath....
My late husband Joe bought the sign in Big Lot's at 90% off....
I like to decorate this chair for every Holiday and Season.....
This year, I decided to display this Bunny family on the chair.....
A vintage vase holds a stuffed carrot bag that I embellished from Dollar Tree.....
The Bunnies were bought at Michaels......
The little Bunnies were a gift from a friend.....
And the Bunny box was a gift from my late friend Anne Marie....
Underneath the chair.....
I moved the hurricane candle holder to the corner by the stairs....
And here is where I put my "found" bird cage after storing it upstairs for quite some time.....
I added a set of fairy lights to the bird cage....
To the right side of the chair on the floor is a Bunny that I bought in Tuesday Mornings....
I left up the 4 ft. Tree that I had up for Christmas and Heart Month....
And decorated it for Easter....
I topped it with a purple and aqua deco mesh bow and streamers....
And decorated it with a lot of Egg ornaments....
I also added pink LED lights, which look like purple when lit....
I decorate this Tree all around as it can be seen from all sides....
I also used 2 egg garlands on the Tree...
Two Easter baskets I made some time ago out of peat pots....
And a gift for Mother's Day a few years ago from my son Jim and DIL Danielle...
To the right of the curio....
Another sign from Big Lot's that I embellished....
And a Victorian Lady that a friend gifted me....
I have finished decorating the Living Room and I am now working on the Dining Room....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY for my next post as I continue the tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter........
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
