I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....

I feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I was....

I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

 A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

Last Winter was a record breaker here in NEPA with it being our coldest Winter in 30 years!!

I am happy that my electric bill will be decreasing now because even though I am on a Budget Billing Plan, they kept raising it...

In my last post, I shared my 7 ft. Seasonal Tree in the Living Room decorated for Easter....

And Bunny Land underneath the Tree....

Thanks again to Andrea, over at The Cottage Market, for choosing my Blog Post, Intentions, Possibilities and Goals for 2026, as one of her features from last week's A Morning Cup of Joe Link Party

As always, I so appreciate her sweet comment...

" This thoughtful post about intentions, possibilities, and goals for the new year is full of inspiration and encouragement… the kind of read that makes you stop for a moment and think about what really matters. Sometimes a little reflection is exactly what we need to move forward with fresh energy. Leave it to our Debbie to share such love from the heart."

Thanks so much, Andrea!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....

On THURSDAYS, I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...

I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....

On MONDAYS, I will be featuring What I Have Bought or Been Gifted Recently, if anything...

Well, it is Saturday and that means I am supposed to share what I have been up to and any events that I attended....

Let me just say that I have had a very quiet week decorating the Living Room and Dining Room for Easter...

I did have an eye Doctor's appointment on Tuesday, where I was there for close to 2 hours for an eye exam, pressure testing and scans, checking for Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration, none of which was detected...

I decided to just have the lenses in my glasses that I got just last year changed as there was a change in the prescription and I really like my frames....

Honestly, I needed a quiet week after the busy week I had last week....

I am basically a Home Body and can stay home for probably weeks on end and never leave , which I did do, quite happily, during the Pandemic...

Since my husband Joe passed away, I have been trying to find a balance between my love for being at home and socialization, which I do know is important to have...

So this was a great week for me to just step back a bit as it is also the time of year when I am remembering everything that happened 2 years ago when Joe passed away in just 5 weeks after first feeling ill and 22 years since my Mother passed away after being in the hospital for over 8 weeks...

I watched both of them die a little bit every day...

And on top of that, my Dad died 39 years ago at the end of February and was buried in March...

I think that is why I am never happy about Spring and Easter coming as this time of year holds too many sad memories for me...

In my last post, I said I would be finishing up my tour of the Living Room today but I realized that Easter is fast approaching so I am going to put off sharing all my Easter table vignettes in the Living Room until my Annual Sprig/Easter Home Tour...

So Today, I am moving into the Dining Room, which I just finished on Tuesday...

I will be starting my Tour of the Dining Room with my Easter Bunny Tea Buffet and the top of the small curio....

In the corner by the Kitchen......

On a Home Interiors shelf, I placed an egg in a vintage milk glass candle holder....

I kept the lighted branch Tree here for Easter.....

And decorated it with small egg ornaments....

I left this piece that my sister passed on to me in the corner....

I did change things up a little bit this year....

 On the left side.....

 A Bunny sign...

Faux chocolate candies and a pretzel ornament in a vintage pink depression glass candy dish...

I bought this sweet tea pot at a church flea market....

There are faux pastries on the pink depression glass dish the tea pot in sitting on....

More faux goodies...

Bunny plates I had bought in Tuesday Mornings before our store here closed....

This year, I placed this tin pocket on the shelf above the buffet...

I made the floral arrangement in it and embellished the eggs on the sides of it...

I placed the Bunny cups on small pedestal so you can see their cute faces better...

A Bunny creamer, another flea market find....

 A faux chocolate Bunny....

Bunny salt and pepper shakers....

On the right side....

My late friend Anne Marie gifted me this Bunny tea pot....

More faux goodies....

A Dollar Tree Bunny that I embellished a bit....

A vintage pink depression glass biscuit jar filled with faux goodies...

To the right of the buffet is the small curio that was belonged to my late neighbor Elly...

An Angel that my son Jim and DIL Danielle gifted me for my Birthday on a Home Interiors shelf...

The top of the curio....

 An egg, a Bunny.....

And an Easter basket that I made out of a peat pot several years ago...

Some of my Victorian Doll Collection and a Bunny....

And here is where I will leave off for today....

I actually managed to get the Dining Room decorated in 2 days but it did take me 1 day previously to pack up all the Heart Month decor from the Dining Room.....

Up next will be Bunny Land in my Dining Rom Hutch....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY for my next post.....

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

And try to find JOY in every single day!
