I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

This past weekend was the Ministry Fair at my church.....

Long tables were set up around the periphery of our Parish Center and each group in the church had a table...

The Service group, the Prayer group, Community Group, Bible Study, Youth Education, Vacation Bible School, Choir, Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers, the Young at Heart Senior Social Club etc.

I hosted the Community Group table next to my friend Rosemary, who hosted the Young at Heart Senior Social Club

Everyone kept teasing us that we had the biggest crowd at our table, signing up over 20 new members for our newly formed Senior Social Club and 8 new members for the Community Group....

We served cookies and coffee before and after the Saturday evening mass....

The Community Group, which I belong to, hosted our monthly breakfast on Sunday morning after both masses....

I brought in some of my embellished pumpkins from home to decorate the tables a bit....

Water and juices....

 Kolachi and cinnamon buns....

 Coconut buns and cookies....

Grapes , which were a huge hit....

Assorted bagels....

The coffee bar.....

I brought in some flavored creamers....

And packets of hot chocolate for the CCD children....

The Fair was deemed a huge success and will now be an annual event....

I enjoyed spending time with friends and meeting a lot of  new people, who recently joined our parish!!

Today, I am going to be sharing how I decorated this wall in my Kitchen for Falloween....

I say the Kitchen is decorated for Falloween because it is a combination of both Fall and Halloween.....

This wall, which serves no purpose in my Kitchen other than to decorate, is decorated more in a whimsical Halloween theme....

To the left side of the Hutch....

A few Halloween items added to the shelf....

A Fall apron hung....

With a ghost that I made on it...

These signs hang above the Kitchen Tree....

And these are hanging on the side of the Hutch.....

To the left of the Tree....

 I decorated the chalkboard....

 On the floor underneath it....

A Halloween toilet paper pumpkin that I made...

I made almost all the ornaments for this Tree....

An owl yard stake from Dollar Tree tops the Tree....

I made the bow using both a Fall plaid ribbon and a Halloween ribbon....

The left side of the Tree

There is a garland on the Tree that was gifted to me by my late friend Anne Marie with orange and black pom poms and felt pumpkins and ghosts...

I tucked a set of orange skeleton hand salad tongs from Dollar Tree into the Tree.....

I also added a few Fall leaf picks to the leaf garland that I also wrapped around the Tree...

The Tree was placed inside an antique crock....

I created this Hutch from a shelf unit bought at a church flea market for $5, marrying it with a desk bought at a yard sale for $10

The top half of the Hutch....

I sort have went with an owl theme and framed a picture of owls from a calendar........

The owls are part of a set of 3 gifted to me by a neighbor....

The leaf bottles were bought at The Christmas Tree Shop and I made the "ghouls" a few years ago...

An orange and black bow hangs in the center....

My late husband Joe bought the sign in the middle on clearance in Big Lot's at 90 % off .....

The top shelf....

You may remember that I recently bought this cute owl at Gabes....

His eyes called out to me and I felt the yellow would work well in the Kitchen!!

Bottom shelf....

I bought this cute mug with a topper online from Boscov's...

I remembered that I bought this cute owl mug last year so I knew I had to have that owl that I bought at Gabes....

I bought all the other things on this Hutch over a few years...

On the desk area of the Hutch, is a  Haunted House, that Joe bought for me the first Halloween we were married, off a woman he worked with that did ceramics....

The left side....

I used a plaid place mat on the desk....

The left side....

I hope someday to pass this on to my twin granddaughters to enjoy....

I also decorate under the desk....

On top of a vintage metal plaid picnic basket....

I keep this copper ceramic Tree, that I bought in Dollar Tree, out year round....

A skull jar and an apothecary jar filled with candy corn....

A few signs...

 Hanging on the drawer knobs....

To the right of the Hutch....

I also added a few Halloween items to this shelf....

And hung a ghost that I made from this cinnamon scented broom....

I hung a Fall sign.....

And a Halloween tussie mussie that I made....

And that is how I decorated this Tree and Hutch in the Kitchen for Falloween this year....

I enjoyed doing it as I did get to add a few new items and re-arranged the older items....
