I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

HAPPY OCTOBER!!!!!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I did a little baking on Saturday.....

I know....

I thought Hell was going to freeze over....

I decided to make some Zucchini Zots.....

I topped them with some mozzarella cheese....

I dipped them in some honey BBQ sauce after they were done baking....

I also made 3 loaves of Zucchini bread and froze 2 loaves for use during the Holiday Season....

I just had to share this amazing sunset from my front porch and how the colors changed over roughly a 10 minute period.....

I am truly blessed that I get to watch this spectacular show from my front porch.....

And a true sign of Fall here in NEPA!!

A tree on the side of my road...

And the tree in my neighbor's yard across our Court...

By the end of October, this entire Tree will be ablaze with red and orange leaves.....

In my last post, I mentioned that I would be sharing my Gothic Pink & Black Halloween Powder Room....

I lied....

I had not even started decorating the Kitchen for Falloween last Monday but I am happy to say that I will have it finished today!!

I like to have the inside of the house all decorated for Fall and Halloween by October 1st so I am okay with being 2 days off from my self imposed deadline...

I say that I decorate the Kitchen for Falloween because it is a combination of both Fall and Halloween....

Today, I am going to start my tour of the Kitchen with this side of the room....

I decorated the counter bar in a Fall beverage theme....

 On the cabinet door....

A Dollar Tree Hot Apple Cider sign that I embellished....

In the corner of the counter bar.....

I placed a ceramic pumpkin in the wire cup that I spray painted copper last year...

I tucked a few sunflowers into the berry ring around the top.....

And placed a pumpkin spice coffee latte sign in front of the cookie jar....

I also hung a copper leaf mold to the side of it....

I left the coffee bar sign up above the toaster.....

My copper mold collection looks great with all the Fall colors....

An embellished Dollar Tree sign hangs in the middle....

I hung a wreath that I made from ribbon that I bought after Christmas one year at Target many years ago....

I like to hang pot holders from the handles on the cabinets...

And I hung small signs from Dollar General for $1 each over the pot holders...

My Beverage Bar for Fall is decorated for both Fall and Halloween...

I do not have a Keurig coffee maker.....

This is my second one in over 20 years and I have another one already bought when this one kicks in because I like it so much!!

Halloween spoon rests.....

I do not have much counter space for a Beverage Bar so several years ago, I simply placed pieces of wood, that I had in my stash, on top of wire shelves....

 And painted them both red.....

This simple solution provided me a lot more space....

Next to the coffee maker, another Dollar Tree sign that I embellished....

A canister for my Instant Coffee, which could qualify as "Vampire Ashes".....

A pumpkin "cookie" to have with my brew....

The "Need More Coffee" sign is placed in front of the coffee canister....

The black shelf holds flavored coffees and lemon honey....

2 of 4 mugs that were a set that my late husband Joe bought on Clearance in Big Lot's.....

Flavored tea bags are in a vintage red enamelware container under the shelf...

Packets of Hot Chocolate in a mug that was gifted to me by neighbors and another Halloween mug filled with marshmallows....

I used a Fall plaid place mat with a vinyl pumpkin one over it underneath the marble turntable....

One of 2 spider web pot holders that I bought on clearance last year...

All these mugs were bought in Big Lot's to hold my flavored creamers and sweeteners....

To the right, I left the coffee place mat hanging on the fridge....

A container of honey is inside the ghost mug in the corner...

Peppermint sticks and coffee wafers in Halloween mugs bought in Gabes.....

Fall Dollar Tree mugs.....

And the fourth Halloween mug from the set....

I do a Candy Corn display on top of the fridge....

I added 2 copper utensils, that I bought in Big Lot's before our store closed, to the floral arrangement in an orange mason jar...

I embellished plaid pumpkins from Dollar Tree....

In the center....

My late friend Anne Marie gifted me the candy corn ceramic tree, that I placed on top of a bread box, with 2 candy corn bottle brush trees from Dollar Tree.....

I just bought these cute Jack O Lantern candy corns at Dollar General for $1 each....

I filled the mason jar lamp with candy corn....

I made the ornament on the lamp shade....

I can not remember where I bought the ceramic candy corns....

The lights for the lamp and the candy corn tree come on by timer....

And this is where I will leave off for today....
