Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my last post, I shared how I decorated my Victorian doll house, Nelson Crest , for Halloween....
Thanks again, Charlene!!
Thanks so much, Barb!!
Please stop by and link up to these wonderful parties!!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
As the Fall Season draws to an end, I wanted to share a bit of NEPA's Fall Foliage.....
I took these pictures of my mountains right behind me and the woods on the side of my townhouse development ....
These are the amazing views we have every time we enter our development!!
It was a partly cloudy day so I apologize for the areas of Sun and shade on my mountains...
That is my townhouse development nestled right among all this beauty....
My row of townhouse is up at the top of the photo, obstructed by the trees....
Some trees in the Apartment complex where both my sons live right next to my development....
And this is the tree right across my Court from me....
It lost a lot of it's leaves because of our dry Summer and then we got rain and wind storms....
From the roadside....
And this is what it looks like right before Sunset, illuminated by the Sun....

These are the woods on the one side of me, also illuminated by the Sun....
Soon though, all the leaves will be off the trees and on the ground.....
MALLOWEEN
Today, I want to share another Halloween event that my son Jim and DIL Danielle invited Mimi and Uncle Joey to attend with them!!!
The Mall, right down the road from us, hosted Malloween where participating stores gave out candy to Trick or Treaters
My twin granddaughters were once again Bluey and Bingo!!
Notice Gigi, Bluey, is holding Jim's hand...
Jim was able to go this time as they were both off....
And Gigi is still holding onto Jim's hand...
She really did not want to let go of his hand!!
Mimi and Uncle Joey walked on the side of them to take pictures and the girls kept looking for us!!
Mid way through, Lily fell fast asleep!!
My two " now grown" boys with my two little girls.....
Gigi loved seeing all the costumes and would wave if she saw another Bluey!!
Lily still did not wake up even when Danielle was trying to get her sweater on....
Gigi and Jim checking out their Haul!!
We all had a great time and were thankful that Jim and Danielle included us in their Halloween fun....
I gifted the girls pumpkins to decorate with stickers.....
Danielle sent me these pictures to show me how much they and the pups liked them!!!
LOL!!
Now I will get on with my annual Falloween Home Tour!!
Right after Labor Day, I decorated the Front Porch for Fall....
Fall Front Porch and Yard in the Evening....
ELEGANT AUTUMN LIVING ROOM
I changed the Front Porch over from Fall to Halloween on October 1st....

A few pics of my Halloween solar lights in the evening....
I placed the tops of Dollar Tree lights inside of these glass Dollar Tree Jack O 'Lanterns....
Simple!!
I moved solar lights that cast an orange glow that I bought in Dollar Tree in the Summer into this flower bed....
These are the skull head Dollar Tree ones out in the flower bed in front of my house on top of the slope...
And these are the ghost ones from Dollar Tree on the park bench with more of the orange glow solar lights........
Now let's move back inside the house....
FALLOWEEN IN THE KITCHEN
I also wanted to share a change I made to the hutch where I switched out my wax candle light bulbs for flickering orange ones!!
SPOOKY HALLOWEEN DINING ROOM
My Dining Room is decorated in a more Spooky Halloween theme.....

I also wanted to share my Halloween center piece for my Dining Room table ....

Nothing fancy as we eat here every day....

The pumpkin and witch's hat were originally used the last 2 years for Minerva, who decided to stay upstairs in the Sitting Room this year....

I have vinyl black spider web place mats over an orange pumpkin tablecloth...
You can also see that Minerva was wearing a scarf around her waist and a broom.....

I decided to add the scarf to the broom....

And hang it on the front door below the wreath....

When I packed up all my faux flowers from the front porch, I moved this Jack O' Lantern that I made from a pretzel container over here and placed it inside of this pot...

I then placed this owl on top of it so it would not blow away....
All of Minerva's Halloween outfit was repurposed....
You already saw where I used her gloves....
And there you have it!!
My Annual Falloween Home Tour for 2025!!
I did have a lot of fun decorating for Fall and Halloween this year as it has always been my all time favorite Season since I was a kid!!
We are having a lot of rain, 1 1/2 inches predicted, and a lot of wind today and into Friday but it is supposed to stop in the late afternoon...
We do not get any Trick or Treaters anymore as there are not a lot of children in our development anymore...
But we hope to hit one more Trunk and Treat that is being held in the Apartment Complex where both my sons live for all the children that live there...
It is right in my son Joey's parking lot as the Office is located there...
We are looking forward to it and hoping the rain will end by then!!
I wish you all a Happy Halloween and don't forget to look for Witch's flying around in the sky....
Or Ghosts!!
I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY for my next post!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE

I am linking up to these parties:
THURSDAY
Please take some time to visit these terrific hosts and all those joining in on the fun!
What a gorgeous area around your townhouse -- leaf color is absolutely technicolor!!
ReplyDeleteGigi and Lili are having a great time for Halloween -- so cute. The Trunk and Treat events are a good way for kids to get their treats, instead of going door to door, though it was fun to see all the costumed kids coming by.
Enjoy your day, and any treats that are shared with you!!
