Fall Front Porch, as one of her features from last week's The Really Crafty Link Party!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...
I had a busy weekend....
On Saturday, I stripped down the Powder Room, deep cleaned it and decorated it for Halloween....
On Sunday, after Mass, I finished up the Powder Room and packed up most of the regular decor from the Powder Room....
I also made a turkey breast for Dinner for my son Joey and I...
This was a FREE turkey breast as I bought it a few months ago when Price Chopper had it on sale for Buy One , Get One FREE!!!
You can't beat FREE!!
I even had some left over that I will make turkey salad with and have sliders and maybe some Mac n Cheese too for another dinner this week!!
I also wanted to share this sight from my front porch!!!

This is my neighbor's Bird from across the Court...
He does talk because a few years ago, my late husband Joe was out at the car and kept hearing "Hello!"
It took him quite awhile of looking around in puzzlement before he realized it was this sweet Bird calling out to him!!
LOL!!
Today, I am picking up with the tour of my Living Room, decorated in an Elegant Autumn theme, right where I left off.....
At the corner by the stairs......
This is the chair that I decorate for all Holidays and Seasons...
When I ran our church's flea market, it was brought in without a seat and stained red velvet fabric on the back of it....

I purchased it and Joe took it to a local fabric and upholstery shop ( which is now closed), picked out fabric for it that matched our Living Room sofa and chairs and had them build a new seat for it...
Joe had worked in a silk mill that made fabric for Lazy Boy and other Furniture Brands prior to him working at the Post Office...
At the time, we paid a mere $100 to have all that done!!!!
I changed up the Fall display on it a little bit this year...
The Fall Feels sign was $1 at Dollar General last year....
One of my embellished pumpkins....
I placed it in a vintage Carnival glass bowl.....
And also placed a battery operated candle inside of it....
I also decorate under the chair.....
From the side.....

I decorated the inside of the lanterns.....
And added bows I made to the top of them....
Like last year, I used this vintage Hull Brown Drip pitcher, that had a floral arrangement in it when I was gifted it for my Bridal Shower 47 years ago......
I placed a few Fall flowers inside of it in this lantern....
The candles are in each of the lanterns....
Another one of my embellished pumpkins....
At a church flea market 2 years ago, I bought this matching creamer for $1....
I also filled it with Fall flowers and placed it in the smaller lantern.....
Next to the chair.....
Is the Branch Tree that Joe bought for me at 75% off after Christmas several years ago at Bed, Bath and Beyond!!
I decorate it for every Holiday and Season....
I decorated it for Fall with copper colored ornaments and Fall leaves that I painted and glittered....
Sorry for the glare.....
Here is what it looks like not lit up....
One side of these leaves is copper in color and the other one is aqua in color..........

The Tree is on a cherub plant stand that has a marble top on it and I bought both, at different times, about 25 years ago in Salvation Army for a total of $25!!!!
I bought this cute little sign for a Buck in Dollar General not long ago.....
I liked the aqua background on it....
I placed the Tree in a tray and filled it with pumpkins and gourdes and a large acorn.....
Keeping my beautiful Mother's Day gift from my son Jim and DIL Danielle inside the tray...
On the side of the curio.....
In an urn, that I had out on the front porch for Summer, is a pumpkin topiary that I made....
The mask was bought at Dollar General for a buck a few years ago....
And this is where I will leave off for today's post!!

I've been off blog and not commenting for a few days due to my unplanned digital detox but looking at your past few posts -- wow! You are definitely ready for fall. So far ahead of me to be sure! You won't need to go on a leaf-peeping trip or shopping excursion to see fall -- you have it right at home!
