I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

In my last post, I shared my family Labor Day Celebration....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I packed away all my outdoor Patriotic decor for the Season and hauled it down to my storage shed....

I then loaded up my car with all the Fall decor for the Front Porch....

I managed to almost get the Front Porch completely decorated but I still have a few things to do .....

I will be sharing the Front Porch all decked out for Fall next week.....

Today, I am going to be sharing another Halloween Haul....

My First Dollar Tree Halloween Haul

Once again, I am co-chairing the Harvest Tea at my church and this is the first year that I honestly had not even thought of a theme for my tables....

And then I saw these in Dollar Tree.....

I plan on painting the frame on this one black to match the other one!!

My theme is going to be "I Put a Spell on You"

I was thrilled when I saw these babies there.....

I tried to find these ceramic Halloween trees last year but once they went viral, they were nowhere to be found.....

So I snatched them up.....

A Jack O' Lantern one!!

The Bat one.....

One of my FB friends said it could be an Ozzy Osbourne Tree!!

My late husband Joe and I were huge fans of everything Osbourne and Joe was an avid Black Sabbath and Ozzy fan.....

And these candles caught my eye for $1.50....

I know it looks blue but it actually is not.....

The pictures and the trees were all marked $5 which were last year's prices ...

When I got to the cash register, the nice young man said that since they were not marked $7.00, which is what they had increased the price to for all 4 of these items, he was obligated to only charge me the $5 a piece for all 4!!!!

Meaning I saved $8 because of the wrong pricing.....

Lucky me!!

My Second Haul from Dollar Tree......

All of these were $1.50.....

I am using this cute towel in my Kitchen now....

I thought these ornaments, especially the ghost ones , would be perfect for the Halloween Tree in the Dining Room......

I grabbed this hanging Spell sign.....

It has a great 3 dimensional look.....

And I bought 2 of these Pick Your Potion table top signs that I plan on using for my Harvest Tea Table....

I found this water bottle on one of the back end caps......

This is perfect for me as I try to drink a minimum of  64 oz. of water daily.....

I love the prompts on the bottle.....

You fill it twice to get your 64 oz. of water daily which is the recommended amount to stay hydrated especially for Seniors....

And it was still only $1.25!!!

Unfortunately, with the price increases at Dollar Tree from $1.25 to $1.50 minimum, Dollar Tree is not a Dollar store anymore....

However, Dollar General still has a lot of $1.00 merchandise....

Dollar General Haul

These 2 items were only a Dollar each and will be part of my favors for my guests at the Harvest Tea...

This apple sign is now in my Kitchen....

Packets of mini pumpkins and apples....

And these are perfect to place in a Halloween arrangement....

Gabes is starting to put out their Halloween merch and has now caught the eye of my favorite You Tube " Shop with Me" personalities, The Queen.....

A new Gabes opened up by her out West and she is just crazy about it.....

I saw this sweet owl and thought it would love great in my Kitchen for my Falloween decorations.....

Only $7.99.....

I needed new garland for the railing on my front porch as the old I have used for many years was looking a bit spent so I grabbed 2 of these 6 ft. garlands.....

These were only $5.99 each!!

A really great price.....

And here is a sneak peek of how it looks with another garland that I had added to it....

I hope you enjoyed seeing the Halloween items that I recently bought....

Have a great weekend!!
