I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

In my last post, I shared How I decorated the Dining Room Hutch as an Apothecary Cabinet for Halloween...

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I had a routine Dr.'s appointment today and all is well including my eye after my fall....

It is going to take about another week or 2 for it to fade away....

It is turning yellow and fading to purple....

Sorry for the blurry pics as I took them wit my phone instead of my camera....

Today, I am continuing my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Halloween...

I left off here in my last post....

I changed out a Home Interiors picture hanging on the soffit.....

My late friend Anne Marie gifted me this amazing vintage Halloween piece of crepe that she framed herself.....

It was among the last Halloween items that she gifted me before she passed away....

 I will treasure it forever.....

Today, I will be sharing my Halloween Tree, which is in a corner of the Dining Room...........

Last year, I brought this cabinet, that I bought at a yard sale for $5, down from my bedroom....

I placed a black vintage lace mantilla over the scarf on the top of the cabinet....

A book of spells, also gifted to me by Anne Marie, potion bottles that I made and a mouse or a rat if you are so inclined....

Another item that I was gifted by Anne Marie.....

I made this a few years back using the largest pumpkin from a 3 pumpkin topiary bought in Five Below....

The witch's legs are from Dollar Tree....

Hanging on the window divider are 2 more Dollar Tree signs....

I debated whether I would put this Tree up or just take apart the table and set up the new 6 ft. pencil Tree that I bought last year for Christmas/Valentine's....

I am glad that I decided to still go with this table top silver Tree....

I think it shows up the Halloween ornaments better....

I topped it with a witch's hat pick and orange glittered branches....

I made the bow out of 3 different types of Halloween black and white ribbon....

You may remember that I bought these ornaments at Dollar Tree....

I made almost all the ornaments for this Tree.....

I used a white tablecloth with a black lace spider web tablecloth over it.....

Underneath the Tree on the table....

My late husband Joe had bought this set of 3 Yankee candle pumpkin people using his comp points when he was still going to the casino not far from where we live....

They are supposed to hold tea lights but I used black pumpkins....

Two silver mercury glass pumpkins are in the background on the table...

I also used a set of ghost lights on the table...

I added a Halloween bow to the clock and hung a black skeleton ornament and a tassel witch from the knobs....

Anne Marie also gifted me her.....

On a marble topped stand, is a birdcage that I painted black and decorated for Halloween...

I placed it in a vintage milk glass compote bowl....

A silver skull is inside the bird cage....

 More skulls......

See the teeth in this apothecary jar????

Guess whose they were???

LOL!!!

Looking toward the corner by the Kitchen.....

I hung skeleton ornaments I bought at Ross from the sconces....

On the shelf.....

Halloween baskets I made out of peat pots.....

The bottle brush trees came from Dollar Tree and I made the bottle....

Another peat pot....

And this is where I will be leaving off for today.....

I hope you enjoyed seeing this year's Halloween Tree in the Dining Room....
