Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Thanks so much, Jennifer!!!
Please stop by and link up to this wonderful party!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Just a little something that I made....
I threw some pasta, sauce, ground turkey, mozzarella and cheddar cheese together along with Seasonings and baked it for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.....
Turned out pretty good and it was easy peasy.....
I also want to share a little project I did.....
About 2 years ago, I bought these in Dollar Tree and painted them....rather poorly I may add...
So I decided to just give them a coat of metallic gold spray paint....
I actually like how they turned out....
Some times doing something simply is the best way.....they are now in the Living Room...
The first home game at our arena for our Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins Hockey team was last Saturday....
In memory of my late husband Joe, as he was a 25 year Season Ticket Holder, I hung this flag......
I could not bring myself to go to any games last year...
But my son Joey and I are going to a game on November 14th as the Diocese of Scranton, which Joey works for, is having a special night at the hockey game and offered discounts on seats....
I know it will be emotional for me but I need to go to a game and get over it as Joe would want Joey and I to enjoy a game now and then....
Today, I will be sharing the last part of my Dining Room decorated for Halloween......
The corner by the Kitchen.....
The shelf on the side of the curio.....
I decorate this Funeral basket, that was gifted to me by my late friend Anne Marie, for every Season and Holiday....
I changed up the entire floral arrangement that I did in it this year....
Anne Marie also gifted me the black velvet gloved hands,,,,
There is a lighted branch in this arrangement.....
On the marble topped table is a Funeral scene.....
I bought a paper mache casket which I painted and embellished....
This is an actual antique Funeral card that Anne Marie also gifted me....
A Dollar Tree tombstone is on the right....
On the floor in front of the curio.....
A witch's boot, A picture from a calendar that I framed and a pumpkin that I embellished....
The top of the curio....
I made this witch's hat 3 years ago....
I bought this skeleton candelabra in Gabes many years ago....
I hung a skeleton off a black glittered twig tree......

I embellished this pumpkin also many years ago.....

An ode to Edgar Allen Poe....
My late husband Joe bought this in Big Lot's....

On the cabinet that my Dad built to match Joe's grandmother's Dining Room set....
You may remember that I bought these candles in Dollar Tree....
I know immediately where I wanted to use them.....
I placed them inside of the vintage hurricane candle holders....
I placed a black lace spider web runner over the cabinet.....
I ran this off the computer and framed it.....
I bought these salt and pepper shakers in Big Lot's in 2023....
A floral arrangement in an orange vase....
I tied a black velvet ribbon into a bow....
I bought the typewriter in Ross's a long time ago...
Another graphic that I framed....
"Quoth the Raven Nevermore"
And that finishes my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Halloween.....
I really enjoyed decorating the Dining Room this year, trying to switch things up a bit....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

THURSDAY
Please take some time to visit these terrific hosts and all those joining in on the fun!
Your dining room is 'boo'tiful. Our daughter and friends are going to see a Pittsburg Penquins hockey game on Nov 3/25 when the team is in Toronto playing the Maple Leafs.. One of her friends has been a Sidney Crosby fan for ever and is thrilled to be able to go and see the game. Daughter has been a hockey fan for ages but never seen an NHL game in person. They are looking forward to it.
