Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have
a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to
spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my last post, I shared how I decorated the Living Room hutch, entry and top of the TV Entertainment Center for Heart Month/Valentine's.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!
Thanks
so much Linda, over at Life and Linda, for choosing my post, Holiday Harlequin and Red Cardinals, as one of her features from last week's
Love Your Creativity party!
Thanks so much, Linda!!
Please stop by and link up to this charming party!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
I am a day late with this post and that is because I just finished the Living Room yesterday and I think I now have the flu......
I thought I was done with whatever I had last week ( probably a sinus infection) but I now have a fever, chills, body aches and nasal congestion...
UGH!
I had to postpone my Birthday celebration that was we planning on having today again ( it was originally planned for the 2nd) because I do not want to get my sweet twin granddaughters sick....
We will try again next week....
Yes, I finally finished the Living Room yesterday before I really started to feel terrible....
I will pick up where I left off in my last post....
At the stairs....

I did not share this area in my last post because I did not have the Trees in this room decorated yet....

I always like to decorate this chair for the different Holidays and Seasons....

Red velvet heart candy boxes that I embellished many years ago.....
I moved the beautiful lighted Mother's Day gift from my son and DIL over here to the chair....

Underneath the chair.....

In these lanterns, I took out the ornaments from Christmas and replaced them with red rose ornaments.....
I left up this 4 foot Tree from Christmas.......
From the side......
I decorated the Tree with different heart ornaments.....

I topped the Tree with a bow made from red velvet ribbon with embossed roses on it.....
You may remember that I bought these on clearance in Big Lot's right after Christmas....
I actually used these on the 7 ft. Tree in this room but that made me decide to left out the red candle ornaments that i had on this Tree for Christmas....
I also left out the gold candle ornaments that I used on the Den Tree for Christmas...
I used some on this Tree and also on the larger Tree which you will see in my next post....
On the marble table......
A vintage Valentine's card that was my late neighbor Elly's.....
I added an evergreen swag with red velvet roses on top of the curio.....
I removed all the Christmas items from the inside of the curio......
I kept the angel out after Christmas....
Across from the stairs.....
The stereo table.....
Valentine's emphemera on the side....
On top of the stereo system.....
Pretty much all of my regular decor is out in the Living Room and I just added a few Valentine's touches to it....
Like red velvet roses....
An embellished heart box....
The chubby holes.....
Added a few vintage and vintage styled cards....
Now I am going to skip over to the small round table by the front door......
The red goes well with the peach in the Living Room as peach is a derivative of red....
The ceramic heart box was gifted to me by my mother....
And this is where I will end for today's post.....
In my next post on THURSDAY, I will be finishing up my tour of the Living Room decorated for Heart Month/Valentine's....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY.....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

So sorry to hear you are still unwell. There are so many viruses and germs out this winter! I know on my scanner it is a constant stream of respiratory infections, Influenza A and norovirus. And then we can add in sinus, the common cold and babies with RSV. I hope what ever you are experiencing is a minor case and you are back on your feet and able to celebrate your birthday with your granddaughters soon!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so lovely! What a wonderful Heart Month memories.
