Click HERE if you missed that post!!
I want to Thank Andrea, over at the Cottage Market, for choosing my post, Winter/Valentine's Powder Room, as one of her features from last week's Morning Cup of Joe Link Party!!
Thanks so much, Andrea!!
Especially for your kind and encouraging words....
Please stop by and link up to this wonderful party!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
I made this super simple casserole for dinner the other day...

I used ground sausage instead of hamburg.....
My Son Joey gave it a bug thumbs up....
Again, I found the recipe on Pinterest....

Today, I will be completing my Tour for the Kitchen decorated for Winter...
In my last post, I skipped over my Beverage Bar....
This is what it looks like now decorated for Winter....
I made this wreath a few years back....
I hung pot holders with snowmen and red cardinals on them....
I hung a Hot Cocoa Bar sign....
I placed a Sit Sip and Enjoy sign in front to the coffee canister.....
My Dad always sprinkled a little salt on top of his coffee grounds....
The red cardinal mug holds my sweetener packets.....
Flavored tea bags are stored in a red enamelware container under the shelf.....
Coffee sweet cream creamers are stored in a Dollar Tree snowman mug......
Along with rock candy sticks....
The snowmen mugs, filled with flavored creamers, were gifted to me by my nieces......
The Cozy mug was a gift from a neighbor......
I placed the marble turntable, that was my late neighbor Elly's, on top of a quilted place mat with birds on it.....
On the top shelf, in the reindeer mug are coffee wafers and Instant Coffee is in the glass container....
On the black shelf, are small glass containers filled with flavored coffees....
The vintage Cocoa container was my late neighbor Elly's....
I placed peppermint sticks and spoons in the snowman mugs....
Also on this shelf are bottles of Hot Cocoa mix from a gift set.....
And packets of Swiss Miss in the Hot Cocoa mug....
I was gifted these pretty Winter mugs by my friend Mary....
And I bought this nice mug at a yard sale for 25 cents......
So this is my Winter Beverage Bar for this year....
I have this red cardinal rug in front of the fridge.....
Now let's take a look at the counter bar....
I redid the garland above the counter bar....
I decorated it for Winter....
Using snowballs, red cardinals and other birds, snowflakes, hot cocoa mug ornaments, owls and deer....
And bird houses along with hanging a snowman in the center of it....
Bows made from ribbon with cardinals on it were also added to the garland...
I hung snowman head ornaments from the sconces on each side......

On top of the counter bar.....
I bought the red berry candle rings before Christmas in Gabes....
A mason jar with red cardinals inside, topped with a red house ornament...
I bought deer plates this year to match the deer mugs that I bought last year.....
This mug is filled with peppermint candy which eases any stomach distress due to my IBS..
I placed 2 red cardinal place mats on each side of the stained glass lamp which also was my late neighbor Elly's.....
A figurine of snowmen in the center behind the lamp along with a red cardinal.....
Another snowman head on this side....
Love the beverage bar.I am thinking I may take down snowmen today and put up Valentine's Day decor. Then it will be St Patricks Day, Easter and Spring!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are all set for the month of February with everything decorated and cozy feeling. Not sure if Phil saw his shadow in PA today but it was cloudy here. No matter- winter is far from over in WI. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Deb..your coffee bar is delightful. I love how you decorate your home with such gusto! Have you always decorated with such enjoyment or have you done more since you retired?? I wish I was more creative!
ReplyDeleteHugs..Barb
Barb,
DeleteI have been decorating like this for about 20 -25 years now...I do find that i am more creative with my displays now that i am retired as I do not have to hurry up and get it done before I have to go to work....Sometimes, I just can not shut off my mind...
Hugs,
Deb
It's always fun to make room for a beverage bar! And you have some darling things there, too!
ReplyDeleteI am keeping my hot cocoa bar out till the end of this month. I took away my Christmas cups and put some green and white ones: my decor right now is bared down to some white and green trees. I will add a couple Valentine's details next week for a week or so. It sure is fun to have a hot beverage bar. I should get some warm apple cider: I think the boys would like that.

ReplyDeleteVisiting today from WTJR
I love your winter bars decorations! So cozy and lovely! The casserole looks really good and I like the idea of substituting sausage in place of the hamburger.
ReplyDeleteDeb, Your beverage bar is such a warm and sweet place. It makes winter seem so much less dreary, I'm sure! I would love to have that in my kitchen! I'm happy to tell you I'll be featuring this post tomorrow at Thursday Favorite Things. :)
