I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have
a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to
spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

In my last post, I shared my Winter Beverage Bar....

And the counter bar decorated for Winter....

Completing my tour of the Kitchen decorated for Winter.....
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow here in Pa. on Sunday morning....
Meaning 6 more weeks of Winter....
For the last few years, we enjoy watching all the festivities before Phil's prediction...
It is quite a crazy time, filled with a lot of tongue in cheek humor....
Joe and Joey stopped at Punxsutawney a few years back on their way home from their annual trip to Pittsburgh to see a Pens hockey game...
They were very impressed by this quaint little town and the close to 40 "Phil's that are scattered about the town...
Joey described it as a weird little town but in the best possible way!!!
Click HERE if you would like to see that post....
And Winter is definitely not over here in NEPA as we got about an inch and a half of snow last evening....
It melted away quickly as it got up to 40 degrees by the afternoon...
Another storm coming on Thursday....
Today, I will be starting my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Valentine's/Heart Month...
I prefer to celebrate Heart month instead of Valentine's Day, honoring my Dad who passed away in February of a massive myocardial infraction...a heart attack...
I decorated the buffet in the Dining Room in a Cupid's Cafe theme....
But first, let me show you the wall to the left of the buffet....
A Dollar Tree sign that I embellished....
A Valentine's Angel that was given to me by a friend....
I expanded a bit on my Valentine's Cafe theme that I did last year....
I left the branch Tree here and decorated it with white snowflakes and Valentine's cards that I embellished....

All faux candies, cupcakes and candies....
I just bought the Cupid's Cafe sign in Dollar Tree....
I made the Valentine's candy jar a few years ago....
More faux cupcakes and candies...
The boxes of candy and pretzel are ornaments....
I taped the signs that I printed out last year onto the picture....
I made the Valentine's muffin pan last year...
A Snowman tea pot....
The Latte signs are from Dollar Tree....
I bought the Hot Cocoa carrier in Big Lot's last year....
A Valentine's dish filled with Conversation Hearts....

Hanging on the buffet.....
The small curio between the buffet and the hutch....
On the shelf above the curio....
On top of the curio....
The hutch......
Top of the hutch.....

Vintage Valentine's cards that I framed using gold cards....
The vintage Valentine's card was my late neighbor Elly's....
The Valentine's bottles were gifted to me by my friend Anne Marie....
I left the red transferware in the hutch from Christmas....
And added a few Valentine's items....
Top shelf...
A cupid compote....
Middle shelf...
A hand made Valentine's card.....
Bottom shelf....
I added a Valentine's gingerbread house ....
Valentine's signs....
I left the trees here after Christmas....
Hung gingerbread ornaments on them....
I bought the gingerbread house before Christmas but I have not had time to add a few hearts to it for Valentine's like I did with the larger one in the hutch...
I used the 2 gingerbread trees in the Kitchen for Christmas...
And this is where I will leave off for today.....
In my next post on THURSDAY, I will finish my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Valentine's...

Including how I decorated the new Tree that I bought for Christmas, for Valentine's....
So I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

The gingerbread houses repurposed for Valentine's Day is genius. I love your red transferware. I hope you are doing well. I am sorry about your winter. We are currently in fake spring but I'm sure we will be hit with more cold temperatures.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great like it always does! I love that you repurposed your gingerbread houses and those faux candies and cakes and things look so good.
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at the amount of effort you put into your decorating, Debbie. I've selected your valentine's cupid cafe as one of my favourites to be featured in this week's #WeekendTrafficJamReboot. Sue L x
