Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....

feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....

For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....
On THURSDAYS,
I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local
cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...
I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....
On MONDAYS, I will be featuring What I Have Bought or Been Gifted Recently, if anything...
Being that it is MONDAY, what have I bought lately.....
Not much to share today....
I did get the other item that I ordered online from Walmart that I mentioned last Monday....
I recently saw this featured on Good Morning America's Deals and Steals so I thought I would try it as I usually spread all my papers with my name and address on them....
I LIKE it!!
They also sell refills for it...
And that's all I have to share for today's Haul....

May was our coolest month since 2008 and I LOVED IT!!!!
I am not a lover of heat and humidity and actually dread the Summer months because I do not do well physically in the Summer because of my auto immune diseases and medication side effects that cause heat and Sun sensitivity...
So I am praying that June will also have below average temps. in the 70's and that the 80's and 90's stay away from NEPA!!
Last year, I joined a group of Bloggers who were setting Quarterly and Monthly Goals......
My Goals are more of a To Do List for each Season.... 
And I do so love my To Do Lists....
And I do so love my To Do Lists....
This year, I have decided to only do Monthly Goals.....
So how did I do with my May Goals???
Pack away Easter in the Living Room...YES!
Decorate the Living Room for the Patriotic Summer Holidays.....YES!
Decorate Nelson Crest, my doll house, for the Patriotic Summer Holidays.... YES!!
Pack away Easter in the Dining Room......YES!
Decorate the Dining Room in the Summer Tea Room theme.....YES!!!
Put my Moss Rose Collection back in the Dining Room Hutch.....YES!!
Decorate the Dining Room Buffet in a Patriotic theme for the 250th Birthday of America...Yes
Decorate the Front Porch and Yard for Memorial Day....YES!!
Return the Front Porch and Yard to Summer decor after Memorial Day....YES!!
Pack away Easter in the Kitchen....YES!!
Decorate the Kitchen in the early Summer Hens and Roos theme.......YES!!!

Plant all my annuals in pots the week before Memorial Day.... YES!!!
Pack away Christmas in the Bedroom......YES!!
Still working on a major cleaning and returning it to "normal"
Have my son Jim come and put in the window air conditioners....NOPE! But he will be doing that on Wednesday as we had below average temps. all last week....
And I can not believe that I am once again, pushing these into the next month as I did not get to them this month...... UGH!!
Clean
up and landscape the flower bed by our mailboxes that I created a few
years ago...the last landscaping project for this year, I promise....NOPE!!
Pack away Christmas in the Sitting Room and re-decorate it in a garden theme....NOPE
Pack away Christmas in the upstairs Hall way and return it to normal.....NOPE
Pack away Christmas in the upstairs Bathroom and return it to normal......NOPE!!
Pack away Christmas in the Craft Room......NOPE!!
Start to re-organize the Craft Room......NOPE!!
Social Goals
Host a Parent's Day dinner for my family, celebrating both Mother's and Father's Day.....YES!!
Finish planning and attend my Senior Social Club's Spring Fling party.....YES!!
Make all the Garden Centerpieces for the Spring Fling...,,YES!!!
Help out with the monthly family breakfast at my church....YES!!
Attend my great niece Caitlin's graduation, where she will receive an Associate Degree in
Nursing....YES!!
Host my family's Memorial Day Remembrance dinner....YES!!!
Help out with a special dinner for my priest Father Alex....YES!!

Well, it was a very busy month so I do not think that I did all that bad with accomplishing a lot of what I wanted to do!!
So let's look at what I need and want to do in June....
Put up the new shades in the bedroom that I ordered last Fall
Go through the Storage Room again, deciding what I will not be using and reorganize it
Start to straighten, reorganize and clean the storage shed that I rent to see if I can drop down to a smaller one
Trim the bushes out in the front yard....
Pushed into JUNE from MAY....
Pack away Christmas in the Sitting Room and re-decorate it in a garden theme....NOPE
Pack away Christmas in the upstairs Hall way and return it to normal.....NOPE
Pack away Christmas in the upstairs Bathroom and return it to normal......NOPE!!
Pack away Christmas in the Craft Room......NOPE!!
Start to re-organize the Craft Room......NOPE!!
Go through and reorganize the Sitting Room Closet
Go through and reorganize the Craft Room Closet
Go through ALL my clothes and decide what can be donated if I have not worn it within the last year...
Social Goals
Plan and conduct my monthly Senior Social Club meeting as I am the President...
Help out with the Meet N Greet for our new priest the weekend of June 13th and 14th
Pastoral Council Meeting with our new priest
Have my nieces over for pizza before my niece Caitlin starts working as a nurse in July...
JUNE is going to be a quieter month as far as Social events and I really need to get the upstairs Sitting Room and Craft Room reorganized so that is my #1 priority....
I just hope June will not be unGodly hot as I do not have air conditioning in those 2 rooms...
Personal Goals
Today, on June 1st, I am once again embarking on my Wellness Journey....
This popped up on my FB Memory Feed this morning.....
"June 1, 2022 to June 1, 2023 Down 50 pounds! Where do I go from here? Hopefully,losing even more weight!"
Well, in the last 2 1/2 years since my husband Joe became ill and passed away from pancreatic cancer, I gained 18 of those pounds back....
Also in recent pictures, I noticed that I have also lost the muscle tone I had when I was walking and exercising every day....
SO........
I decided that I am going to try to lose 3-4 pounds a month but I am not going to pressure myself...
As my favorite You Tube personality Arlynn says " I have the rest of my life to lose the weight"...
I am also going to try to do some sort of exercises daily but I am not committing to specific routine yet...
I know I will feel better, both physically and mentally and have more energy....
I just want to be the healthiest version of me that I can be.....
So wish my luck!!
I hope and pray that June is a great month for everyone!!
