was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have

And now for a few Personal Notes...
I packed away all of Winter/Valentine's in the Kitchen this week....
And decorated it for Easter!!
Truth be told, I have not done one single thing outside even though we have had several days of unseasonably high temps. here and there...
That is why my header on this Blog still shows the house decorated for Winter...
Because it is still decorated for Winter!!!
I hope to pack away and haul all of that decor down to my storage shed next week and decorate it for Easter, along with bringing the porch furniture from the back, where I stored it for the Winter, out to the front.....
I wanted to get the inside of the house decorated for Easter first before attacking the outside and I keep reminding myself that it is still March...
We can get snow into April and even into early May here in NEPA!!!!!!
Today, I am continuing my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter......
I will be sharing the hutch and the area around it....
I removed the red transferware dishes that I had displayed in the hutch for Christmas and for Winter....
Replacing it with a Bunny Village!!
But first, let's take a look at the top of the hutch....

The left side....
The bunny dish and Easter Caroler came from the Christmas Tree Shop!!
In the center is a floral arrangement I did inside of an Easter tin pocket along with 2 mini Victorian homes...
On the right side....
Inside the hutch......
Last year, I decided to move this Bunny Village from the Living Room into the Dining Room....
Again, like on the buffet, I used pieces of my pink depression glass collection....
The top shelf....
The Easter putz style houses were purchased several years ago at The Christmas Tree Shop!
Easter Egg plates from Tuesday Mornings are the back drop....
Middle shelf....
Easter bottle brush trees....
The bottom shelf.....
A lot of different bunnies and eggs......
On the right side of the hutch.....
Is the vintage window that I hung as a divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room.....
I like to hang signs on the window, which was an insert for a vintage door....
A Dollar Tree signs that I embellished....
A bunny butt plaque that I made.....
On the side of the hutch.....
On a pedestal that I topped off with a hat box, creating a small table....
My mother gifted me this macrame Easter basket over 40 years ago.....
This year, I placed a fiberoptic Bunny Tree that no longer worked inside of the basket....
I lit the tree and the handle of the basket with 2 fairy light sets.....
This is an Easter bunny that I bought in Dollar Tree and embellished 2 years ago......
Eggs and a set of bunny napkin rings bought in Gabes.....
On the side, is an Easter Bunny that originally sold in Hallmark stores that I bought at an estate sale for
$3.00!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I decorated this hutch for Easter this year....
In my next post on MONDAY, I will be continuing my tour of the Dining Room all decked out for Easter!!
Sharing my pink Easter Tree and the rest of the Dining Room.....
So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

I am linking up to these parties:
THURSDAY
Please take some time to visit these terrific hosts and all those joining in on the fun!
Other than the 17 Beswick figurines from Beatrix Potter that I scored at the cancer resale shop, I am not decorating indoors for Easter this year. My husband is tearing the walls down in my bathroom as I type and I will not be inviting family and friends to celebrate Easter in a house with a questionable bathroom! Plus he has stuff piled in front of all my storage areas and I don't want things falling off my walls, etc. I did purchase a cute door mat at the dollar store and changed my outdoor flags from St Pat's to Ducks with Umbrellas. So I am faking Easter decor, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb..I've caught up on your blog finally!
ReplyDeleteLove your Easter Bunny Village and also how it is lit up. Everything is so pretty!
Hugs, Barb
I'm going to take a leap and say I bet you're done with Easter decorating. But I've been wrong before! I think I might bring up a few things today.
ReplyDeleteWe got 3" of new snow yesterday where we live yesterday... yikes! Your Bunny Village is so charming! It's like a miniature dollhouse! The first thing I thought of when I saw your photos was how entranced my daughters would have been in their younger years with it all! So pretty!
