I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared what I have been cooking....

More stock up...

And a drapery trick....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I had a very busy week with appointments on 4 days out of the week....

This greatly hampered me in trying to get the Dining Room cleaned and decorated for Easter but I am now done in there, even though it took me the entire week!!

I will be moving on into the Kitchen next....

Today, I am sharing the 3rd Tree decorated for Easter in the Living Room along with the corner by the stairs...

I already shared the one side of the stairs.....

This is what you see when you walk in the front door on the other side of the stairs....

This year, I hung a different wreath that I made here...

I had hung this wreath in the hallway in past years....

Also new this year is that I added this bunny, that my Mother gifted to me over 40+ years ago, to the center of the wreath....,

A co worker of hers used to craft and sell her wares at work....

Joe had bought this sign on Clearance in Big Lot's at 90% off and I embellished it....

I bought this "chocolate" bunny at a church flea market...

In the corner......

I decorate this chair for all the Holidays and Seasons.....

This year, I decided to move my childhood Easter basket over here to the chair.....

The set of eggs lights no longer worked so I added a set of fairy lights to the handle of the basket and kept the egg lights.........

The crocheted cross on the handle was gifted to me by a friend...

Another "chocolate" bunny was placed in the back area of the basket....

The ceramic Easter egg in the center was made by my MIL for me....

The pink and purple Easter eggs in the back are banks and were mine as a child....

My parnets would fill them with their spare change at the stat of Lent and I would then receive the eggs filled with money on Easter Sunday!!

 More "chocolate" eggs.....

The pink and purple bunnies went with the egg banks and were also mine as a child....

A ceramic egg that a friend gifted to me....

That is a peach lace valance that I folded and placed over the chair....

I placed candles in the one lantern under the chair and a floral arrangement in the other one....

And this is the 3rd Tree decorated for Easter in the Living Room......

I already shared this one.....

I left up the 4 foot Tree that has been here since Christmas and Valentine's....

You can see that it is decorated similar to the larger Tree....

I topped this Tree off with a bow made from purple and aqua deco mesh ribbon like the other Trees.....

There are streamers from the same deco mesh ribbon around the Tree....

From the side.....

I also tucked some floral picks into the Tree....

At the base of the Tree.....

I made the Easter baskets out of peat pots.....

In the center is the beautiful gift I received one Mother's Day from my son Jim and DIL Danielle....

Another sign that Joe bought and I embellished.....

More of my Angel Collection and crystal collection are displayed in this curio.....

I bought this bunny in Tuesday Mornings for $6 on clearance.....

The original price marked on it was outrageously high at $70!!!

And another one of my Victorian dolls, gifted to me by a friend, on the side of the curio....

I also want to share another area in the Living Room that I changed up a bit this year....

The faux window....

For many years, I hung an Easter Cross on the faux window.....

I bought the form at the estate sale of a florist and used Dollar Tree flowers on it...

Sadly, last year, it was starting to fall apart so I donated it to Salvation Army....

So I decided to display the Easter Bunny wreath that I made many years ago in the "window"....

Notice that I changed the drapes from Winter to the aqua colored Spring/Summer ones....

I hung the same signs that I embellished from the curtain rod using shower hooks....

I wanted crosses also displayed here...

I added lights to the bunny wreath....

I made and sold over 30 of these wreaths at work one year!!!

I also hung this macrame cross that my Mother gifted me over 40+ years ago....

And this is where I will leave off for today....

In my next post on MONDAY, I will be finishing up my tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter.....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY!
