Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

It took me a week to pack away Valentine's, clean and redecorate the Dining Room for Easter!!
It usually takes about 3 days!!
Last week, I had appointment 4 out of the 5 weekdays which really hampered me in my decorating so that is why it took so long....
It was a stressful week as one of the last things I needed to learn to do since Joe passed away was Income Taxes...
I was panic stricken when I could not get in touch with the tax preparer Joe always used...
I finally found a new guy, as he advertises in my church bulletin, and several of my friends from church use him as their CPA but by the time I got all this figured out, he may have to file an extension on my taxes as he is swamped...
He now has all my documents, it is in his hands now and I am feeling better....
It is what it is and next year, I will be more prepared...
Plus I also had to have some dental work done last week which always stresses me out...
On Saturday, my son Joey treated me to pizza from one of our favorite local places, Norm's
Sicilian Pizza with mushrooms.....
Unfortunately, the owner has decided to retire after 40 years, listing one of the reasons is that he can not get workers or he hires them and they quit shortly thereafter....
So sad...
Today, I will be starting my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter...
I will be sharing the buffet and the top of the small curio in this post....
My Dining Room is the most Victorian looking room in my 1970's townhouse....
I like to decorate it as if it was a Tea Room.....
We will start here in the corner by the Kitchen....
A Thomas Kinkade Victorian Mother with child....
One of my Victorian dolls on a pedestal in the corner.....
I left my lighted branch Tree on the buffet for Easter.....
The eggs are crystalized so I am sorry for the glare from the flash....
For several years now, I have decorated the buffet for Easter in a Tea theme......
I have changed it up a bit this year.....
On the left side.....
" Bless Our Home"
Like last year, I have used pieces of my pink depression glass collection.....
Faux cupcakes in the vintage biscuit jar....
Faux pastries and candies displayed in another pink depression glass dish....
The tree is on a cake pedestal....
In the center.....
I placed an Easter plate over the picture frame on the shelf....
This year, I decided to move this sweet bunny tea pot, that my late friend Anne Marie gifted me, over here on the buffet....
I am happy with how it looks this year....
One of my Victorian Ladies on the shelf above....
Bunnies, including a chocolate one, and the pink ceramic egg that was gifted to me by my Mother many years ago....
More of my Victorian dolls.....
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
