I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Today, I will be sharing my "Elegant Autumn" Tree in the Living Room and the "Pumpkin Patch" underneath it....

But first, I want to Thank Joanne, over at Slices of Life, for choosing my post, Falloween Dabbling, as one of her features from last week's Encouraging Hearts and Home Linky Party!!!

 Thanks so much, Joanne!!

Please stop by and link up to this wonderful party!!

I have been busy the last 2 days changing the Dining Room over to Halloween and I have had so much fun doing so....

I hope to finish today and I can not wait to show you all the changes that I made this year...

Again, since many of you have questioned where I will be putting all the new things that I recently bought and made, I will be pointing them out.....

Let's take a look at my Seasonal Tree first...

I stripped the Tree down to the lights after taking down and packing up my Late Summer "Under the Sea" decorations......

You may remember that I bought these lights at Big Lot's for 90% off.....

I added 2 sets of these Globe Lights to the Tree....

Next, I added a set of orange LED lights and gold beaded garland .......

I decided not to put the large gold leaf ornaments on the Tree that I bought after Christmas many years ago at KMart......

I hung 2 here by the faux window.......

And another 2 over on the Living Room window.........

That freed up a bit of space on the Tree........

I have collected ornaments to decorate this Tree for Fall over quite a few years....

I did buy these recently at Dollar General for $1 each and I thought they would look great on the Tree as ornaments....

I have also made a few ornaments over the years.....

And here it is all finished....

I am going to let the pictures do the talking......

The beads with the initial B is also new, $1 at Dollar General....

I also decorate the platform that this Tree stands on year round.....

For Fall, it becomes a "Pumpkin Patch".......

I started by covering the platform with a gold tablecloth.....

I used half of a Tree Collar that I bought after Christmas....

The picture, on the right, originally looked like this several years ago......

 I turned it into this....

I placed a topiary that I made on the left side of the Tree.......

I made the topiary from one I bought at Five Below a few years ago....

I painted it using this kit that I had.....

This year, I did not use my large red truck for the "Pumpkin Patch".....

I used gold pots inverted and 2 gold mercury glass pedestals to display my "glamme up" pumpkins.....

Several years ago, I embellished a bunch of pumpkins that I bought on Clearance.....

These are the pumpkins that I used in my "Pumpkin Patch"...

On the left side....

I also used 4 pumpkins that I made from toilet paper......

I added more leaves and a rose to the top of each of them.....

The lighted acorn was bought at Big Lot's a few years back.....

I recently bought the orange candles on each side of the platform in Gabes.....

The wood signs also came from Gabes , bought several years ago....

I placed a faux gourd in one of Joe's Grandmother's carnival glass dishes....

Three "Pumpkin" Bears are displayed in the center.....

On the right side....

The squirrel was also bought several years ago in Big Lot's.....

Another toilet paper pumpkin that I spruced up this year....

And one more....

Next to the platform is another topiary that I made but I only used the top 2 pumpkins for this one and kept the color a bit lighter than the one on the other side of the platform.........

I added bows made from orange deco mesh rope and roses, both from Dollar Tree, this year.....

And also a Madri Gras mask that I bought, also from Dollar Tree, in February!!

And that is what the "Pumpkin Patch" and my "Elegant Autumn" Tree looks like this year...

I hope you enjoyed seeing it.....

And I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY when I will be sharing more of my Living Room decorated in an "Elegant Autumn" theme.....

  2. I just love your tree! It really say "fall" and the colors are gorgeous. I am still waiting on the fairies to move the fall decorations out of the guest room and decorate my house.
