I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Today, I will be sharing the entry way in the Living Room decorated for Fall....

In my last post, I shared  my "Elegant Autumn" Tree in the Living Room and the "Pumpkin Patch" underneath it....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I thought I would give you all a good laugh......

Joe wears this to sleep in but usually not together as it is quite blinding.....

You can see it reflecting in the storm door......

The Martian Green Glow definitely does not go with my decor....

Needless to say, I do not need a night light on at night when he wears the shorts and top together....

LMAO!

On Saturday, we went to our church's Fall Fest that was held for parishioners only as a community get together....

It was held under a large tent in the back parking lot by our Festival Food Garages...

Our son Joey met us there after Mass....

Joe is talking to Joey....

You walked through the line for the food after giving your tickets..

In the background you can see the garage doors open where they are making potato pancakes on large grills and selling beer and soda which was not including in the ticket price....

You paid one price which included all Food you wanted and games and prizes for the children....

They served potato pancakes, which they brought around to the tables, pulled pork sandwiches, porkettia sandwiches, cole slaw, Auntie Anne's pretzels , apple cider donuts, water and fresh apple cider....

This was the line for the food....

They also had Take Out containers so I brought some food home which we were to have for dinner on Sunday....

It was a nice time and Joey even got to speak with 2 co workers of his who are parishioners at our church....

I also want to share an amazing Sunset.....

The Sunsets in the Fall are always so beautiful!!!!

I will be continuing my Tour of the Living Room decorated in an "Elegant Autumn" theme today, starting at the front door.....

And again, since many of you have questioned where I will be putting all the new things that I recently bought and made, I will be pointing them out.....

I made this wreath last year....

I have a little scarecrow hanging on the door knob....

To the left when you walk in the front door, is the Hutch that was Joe's Grandmother's....

 On the side of it....

A shelf and brass sconce.....

Fall flowers in a brass container....

On top of the Hutch.....

On the left side....

I bought these plaques on Clearance a few years ago in Dollar General at 90% off....

On each side are the pumpkins I made from thread spools that I bought at a Church Flea Market.......

You may remember that I bought this sign in Dollar Tree.......

For some reason, it called to me.......

Now I know why as it really goes well with those plaques....

On the other side......

In the center is an Autumn tree....

I added a few Fall touches to the inside of the Hutch....

I simply added a few pumpkins, orange ornaments and a set of 8 Gourd tea lights that Joe picked up on Clearance one year in Bed, Bath and Beyond....

The shelf on the other side of the Hutch. ......

The corner by the stairs....

On one side of the steps....

This year, I placed this scarecrow here...

I bought him at a Church Flea Market for $3 and added a few things to him....

The lanterns are also decorated for Fall.....

The Fall Angel also came from that same Church Flea Market and was $2.....

She lights up but I forgot to turn her on....

I did remember to light up the Fall cracked glass ball bought a few years ago in Big Lot's....

On the other side of the steps....

Another wreath that I made......

Joe bought this sign one year in Big Lot's for 90% off.....

Pumpkins, that I embellished quite a few years ago, on the steps.......

Facing the door on the side of the chair on the floor....

Is a Fall sign I made from Pringle's cans 2 years ago.....

I like to decorate this chair for the different Holidays and Seasons.....

I bought this Fall Feels sign recently in Dollar General for $1.......

I placed it over the top of the chair....

I decorated this chair with different kinds of pumpkins and gourdes....

And I filled this carnival glass Sunflower bowl that was Joe's Grandmother's.......

Sorry for the glare from some of the crystalized pieces....

 Underneath the chair.....

2 lanterns with pumpkins and candles inside of them and a pumpkin made from a toilet paper roll and green velvet fabric.........

Next to the chair is my lighted branch Tree....

Which I also decorated it for Fall.....

I bought all the copper colored ornaments many years ago in a Volunteer's of America Thrift Store ....4 bags filled for $5!

I placed the tree in a tray and filled it with pumpkins and gourdes.......

I had to leave out my Mother's Day gift from my son Jim and DIL Danielle.....

On the side of the curio is actually a gold Christmas Angel that I tied some orange colored deco mesh rope around her waist, making a bow.........

With a pumpkin that I embellished on the floor in front of her.....

And this is where I will leave off for today......

In my next post on WEDNESDAY, I will be finishing up my Tour of the Living Room decorated for Fall.....

I an thrilled to say that I have finished decorating the Dining Room for Halloween and I am now moving into the Kitchen this week.....
