Thanks so much, Julie!
Also Thanks to Becky, over at Vixen's Den Studio, for choosing my post, Good Bye 2024, Hello 2025, New Year's Celebration, as one of her features from last week's Whimsy Home Wednesday Link Party...
Please stop by and link up to these charming parties!!
Well, I finally got my decorating Mo Jo back.....
And I finally started to pack away Christmas inside the house....
I did so outside in front of the house in the first week of January before the snow and frigid weather hit...
But with high temps. only in the 20's for 9 days straight, I was in no mood to go up into that frozen attic to bring the tubs down...
We had a short 3 day break of temps. actually above 32 degrees so I hauled all the tubs I needed down to change over the Den to Winter...
I also was able to cross another Quarterly Goal off my list....
Change over Den to Winter.....FINISHED!!
So today, I am going to share half of the Den decorated for Winter....
We will start to the left side when you walk into the room from the Kitchen.....
The first door is to a storage room and the other one is the Pantry closet.....
Today, I updated 3 Winter wreaths that I made for the Den several years ago....
Along with a large snowflake that I bought in Penney's many years ago....
My Cynthia Hart Victorian calendar, that my friend Anne Marie gifted me, hangs on the Pantry closet door....
Anne Marie is still in the hospital.....
Please kindly remember her in your prayers...
This is where I always sat when Joe was watching Hockey in the Living Room....
When he became ill, I stopped sitting in here and really have not sat in here since then....
But I decided to change that as I forgot how much I enjoyed this little corner....
For Winter, I like to decorate the Den with Owls, Birds and Snowmen.....
I shopped my own home as the flocked swag came out of my Powder Room....
I received these owls as a gift from my neighbor a few years ago....
The small flocked trees were in the Living Room for Christmas.....
Another owl and a birdhouse....
I love how you can see the reflection of the flocked tree in the mirror....
On the reproduction oak Ice Chest that I bought at an estate sale for $15 and use as a TV stand......
Trying to disguise the DVD player and the Roku for streaming...
A hand made wooden sled that Joe bought for me from the Amish Farmer.....
The Snowman Collector slate was my late neighbor Elly's...
In the corner....
Since this was once part of a storage room, that is the electrical box which my Dad build a cover for....
I recently bought 2 of these plates, for only 50 cents each, at Hobby Lobby using a gift card I had...
They both had chips on the left side.....
I knew what I wanted to use them for and that I could easily disguise those chips for a mere 50 cents, down from $12.99 originally....
I simply added the plate here, placing a bottle brush tree in front of the chip in the plate.......
I also added the snowman sign "Wanted...One Magic Hat"
I bought the tree throw on the ottoman last year....
This year, I moved this picture, which lights up, from the hall where I had it for Christmas, here...
In my next post on SATURDAY, I will be sharing the rest of the Den decorated for Winter including 3 Trees....
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Hi Deb! Looks very cozy! I love the use of birds and owls too. Continued prayers for dear Anne Marie!

It definitely IS a winter wonderland! I love seeing those owls and the snowfolk. This reminds me -- I need to bring up MY snowfolk before spring. (No danger of spring anytime soon here.) Keep cozy!
