I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Quarterly Goals and Possibilities List, 2025

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....

Joe would want me to continue doing what I love to do so with that being said.....

I am going to start posting again on a regular schedule.....

I will be posting on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS....

And when I can, I will add a Saturday Snippets post on SATURDAYS...

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

If you would like to Pin my pictures, please click on them to enlarge them to do so....

 A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared how I changed over my Front Porch and Yard from Christmas to Winter....

 And a bit of SNOW!!

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Every year, I like to set certain Goals for myself.....

Things that I want to accomplish....

Most of them are small and related to the house....

I am linking up to a Linky Party hosted by these fellow Bloggers who decided to do posts  on Quarterly Goals and Bucket Lists instead of yearly ones...

I originally saw the post on Marsha's Blog, Marsha in the Middle, and I was intrigued!!

This was the brain child of Leslie, over at Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After

Each Blogger involved will do a blog post about what those Goals and items on their Bucket Lists are quarterly, doing a follow up to those posts, along with hosting a party for everyone else to join in on....

I thought this was a great idea because I think listing Goals that you want to accomplish in a certain smaller period of time is a lot easier to accomplish...

My Blogger friend Joanne, over at Slices of Life, has been doing it for some time and I always admired those posts...

Bo, over at Bo's Bodacious Blog, lists a lot of very specific Goals so I will be interested in how she does with all of them!

Mireille, over at Chez Mireille Fashion Travel Mom,  listed some Blogging and financial goals...

They to do have to be big life changing Goals...

My Goals are more of a To Do List for each Season....

And I do so love my To Do Lists....

So these are my Winter Goals that I want to accomplish in the first 3 months of the year...

JANUARY

Pack up and put away Christmas down stairs

Change over Powder Room to Valentine's

Change over Den to Winter

Change over Kitchen to Winter with a touch of Valentine's

Decorate Dining Room and Living Room for Valentine's

Go through and reorganize all the cupboards and drawers in the Kitchen

Donate what I do not need or use

Work on my Christmas Planner for next Holiday Season

Get back on my Wellness Program, using Intermittent Fasting

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day

See Wicked in a movie theater

FINALLY use my new Crock Pot

FINALLY use my new Camera

Try some new recipes ( don't laugh)

Start getting paper work for Taxes ready ( my first time ever doing so)

FEBRUARY

Pack away Christmas in the Sitting Room, Upstairs Hall, Bathroom, Bedroom and Craft Room

Give all these rooms a good cleaning before redecorating them with the "normal" decor for these rooms

Decorate the Den China Cupboard and the area around it for Saint Patrick's Day

Work on my Financial plan for next Winter

Start walking for exercise again

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day

Call my Tax Preparer and get paper work to him

Stick to my Wellness Program

MARCH

Pack away Valentine's in Living Room and Dining Room

Pack away Winter decor in Kitchen and Den...

Decorate Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen for Easter

Redecorate the Powder Room with regular decor after packing away Snow Buddy and Winter decor

Redecorate the Den with regular Americana decor

Contact a landscaper friend to clean up the slope in front of my house and put down mulch for me

Pack way and take down to my storage shed all my outside Winter decor..

Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day

Stick to my Wellness Program

These months are busy months for me because of the decorating I do for the Holidays that occur during this time so if I can accomplish just these Goals, I will be a happy camper...

Christie, over at So What? Now What?, decided to call her Bucket List a Possibilities List and I loved that terminology so I am also going with a Possibilities List!!

Possibilities

I have posted this quote before....

This in itself is a great Possibilities List

But I am focusing on the last statement...

I HOPE to buy LESS...

Can't guarantee Buying Nothing

And with that being said, I HOPE to Make Something

Meaning that I want to craft something that I may have seen in the stores, using up some of my vast craft supplies...

I also HOPE to Shop my own home

I have been watching some You Tube Videos where decorators are doing this and using everyday items to decorate with..

More Possibilities....

Spend LESS time on Face book

Spend MORE time reading Blog posts

 Respond to Blog comments quicker

Watch MORE You Tube decorating Videos

Listen to some Podcasts

Find time to read

Reconnect with a few old friends and meet for lunch or invite over

Be in contact more, whether through messages, texts, phone calls or visits with more family members....

And I will end with that for this quarterly post....

Only Time will tell how I will do with all of this.....

And maybe, just maybe, I may add a few more Goals if I am really good at getting the ones listed accomplished..

But that may be wishful thinking on my part...

Along with trying to do a Monthly update on each month's Goals....

But I do plan to....

And I HOPE to continue....

And....

In my next post on SATURDAY, I will be sharing how I rearranged my Gallery Wall of Family pictures....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  1. Those are some great goals!! I think I am hopeless - I read your January list thinking it was for three months and knew I could never complete the list. Then I saw it was monthly, lol. I know you can do it, though.

  2. Goals make much more sense to me than resolutions. You have some ambitious ones but I find if I don't have some goal, nothing gets done. (Well, lots gets done, just nothing toward a goal!)

  3. I love that you are so intentional with setting your goals. That's amazing. I was just reading your post about Joe's last 5 weeks. I am so sorry to hear this! Thank you for sharing it on your blog with us. It's very meaningful.

  4. I’m all about lists! I love this post, because I haven’t set down and made any goals for 2025, but I’ve made several lists. I’m going to take your lead on this and expand them. I like how you have them planned for the year! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Great goals! Was smiling because I made a similar list...want to clean out and organize drawers and cabinets and get rid f things I no longer use. I like your idea of a list for each month...my list looks too long - going to have to break it down like you! Wishing you health and happiness in the New Year !

  6. Hi Deb...my a lot of goals. You are a determined and focused lady so you can do it. My goals are to continue my weight loss successfully and continue to take care of Carl.with his ongoing health issues. Sometimes that's a full time job! Oh and do a major clean out of our walk in closet and donate unneeded items

  8. High five, girl, on your ambitious list. Thank you for sharing your post with us and inspiring all of us with your proposed activities. Get that new crockpot out!! I am wanting to do a soup recipe link up in February. Maybe you could join me?? Nothing better in my book than using my crockpot for a pot of soup.
Oh, tax prep. YUCK! Last year, PC took over the taxes and he did it without having what my mother would call a hissy fit. Ha!! So he can just do it again this year!!
I hope to blog more regularly and read blogs more faithfully this year, too. Have gotten off my water drinking some this winter but need to make that happen, too. And have to do something with my closet!!
Thanks for the mention and for joining us!!

  9. Thanks for mentioning each of us! I really think that writing my goals helps me stay on track and it makes me feel accomplished when I can cross something off my list! I didn't add the tax thing to my list but I would love to get them done early this year and the other thing that I didn't realize is that we have 2 passports to renew. Those are kind of two biggies but neither should take a ton of time. I need to use my instant pot which is also a crockpot more. Definitely need to make more soups!
