I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

 A casserole that I made...

And a ring holder Necklace that I purchased from a local Jeweler so I could wear Joe's Wedding Ring...

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Yesterday, we got a bit of snow....

About 3 inches of a very light powdery snow...

I did the first round of shoveling then my neighbor Melanie shoveled the sidewalks in front of 6 townhouses, including mine...

Then I went back out in the evening when it was winding down and shoveled my sidewalks and my next door neighbor's and put a nice coating of Ice Melt down....

So pretty at night with the lights on.....

Nice waking up to bare sidewalks after a snow storm....

I have been shoveling and taking care of snow removal around my home since I was 12 years old...

After my Dad's construction accident, it was my Mother and me who shoveled all the sidewalks and the drive way...

As I got older, I took care of it all myself , not letting my Mom do it...

I always joke that when I got married, my Dad bought a snow thrower...

He also bought a ride on mower as I also cut the grass too...

LOL!

Beautiful morning here....

Did I mention it is 10 degrees this morning!!

And now, for the next 3 days, we will not be getting out of the teens for high temps.with low's at night around zero....

This is the coldest Winter we have had in some time here in NEPA...

Today, I will be finishing the tour of my Den decorated for Winter....

I will pick up where I left off....

I am going to share how I changed over Nelson Crest, my Victorian Doll House, from Christmas

 To Winter on the outside....

The left side yard....

I left all the wreaths on the windows and garlands around the doors, just like I did on my townhouse for Winter.....

The left side of the front yard....

The front porch.....

The right side of the front yard....

 The right side yard....

The inside is returned to normal......

I left up the Tree in the bedroom for Valentine's as it is decorated with roses....

And I switched out the Christmas Tree in the Parlor for a Valentine's one that I made last year....

I hope you enjoyed seeing Nelson Crest all ready for Winter....

Between the doll house and the china cupboard is this chair....

I leave the "Believe" sign up year round as a reminder to believe in myself....

I basically left the china cupboard decorated as it was for Christmas....

With a few changes for Winter....

I did change out a few things on top of the china cupboard....

I left the Ice Church and the Ice House out for Winter....

I moved some vintage reindeer and a Thomas Kinkade house and church here...

And placed a tree inside of an ironstone pitcher, with a picture of a tree on it, that I bought at a church flea market....

My Thomas Kinkade calendar with January's plate....

On the side, is a small table.....

I left the burgundy feather Tree out...

And added a small plate with a Winter scene on it....

I packed away the Bearington Bears that were here for Christmas and replaced them with a snowman from my late neighbor Elly's collection....

I left the inside of the china cupboard the same as it was for Christmas....

I did change what I hung on each side of the china cupboard.....

 I hung these white bells....

Winter glove ornaments....

And a wreath I bought from Dollar Tree a long time ago...

Hanging a snowman in the middle of it....

I also left everything the same on the vintage suitcases in front of the china cupboard.....

On the side....

More of Elly's snowman collection sitting on a wooden sled....

To a Winter Bird Tree....

I topped it off with a snowbird....

It is decorated with owls.....

White birds....

 Bird's nests....

Pine cones and white tree ornaments from Dollar Tree....

A few pictures in the evening....

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I changed the Den over from Christmas to Winter....
