I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared how I decorated my Powder Room in Pink and Black for the Summer...

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I want to Thank Andrea, over at the Cottage Market, for choosing my post, Pirate's Cove, Saturday Snippets, as one of her features from last week's A Morning Cup of Joe link Party!!!

Thanks so much, Andrea!!!

Please stop by and link up to the lovely party......

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I went to the Amish Farmer that sets up every Friday at the Mall down the road.....

He has the best corn.....

And delicious tomatoes.....

I bought zucchini so I can start making zucchini bread to freeze for the upcoming Holiday Season and Winter.....

You may remember I bought these brass candlesticks at a church Flea Market....

I got out my Twinkle Brass and Copper cleaner and started to work on them.....

You can see the difference between the one I polished with Twinkle on the right and the one on the left that was untouched.....

Both of them finished......

They look great......

This mirrored tray had a silver finish on it and I wanted to give it a different look.....

So I decided to spray paint it with Brilliant Gold Rustoleum spray paint.....

I think it looks great with the brass candlesticks.....

Not sure where I am going to display these yet......

I have been doing a bit of shopping.......

Big Lot's.....

I only bought one of these place mats because I want to use it in the center of my Dining Room table for Halloween.....

And I loved this wood sign too....

These cute salt and peeper shakers will be used in the Kitchen for my Falloween decor in there....

And I bought this sweet spoon drip.....

Used a $5 off $15 coupon....

Gabes......

My first Fall/Halloween Haul from Gabes......

I loved this gold owl and it will be used in my Living Room......

It is scented.....Orange Spice.....

Loved this cute spoon drip....

I am going to do a floral arrangement in this mug.....

I did buy several other things and used a $5 off $25 coupon....

One of them was this beautiful Angel that I gifted to my sister after her husband passed away a few weeks ago....

Red cardinals and what they symbolize ( someone is visiting you from Heaven when you see a red cardinal) are a big thing in my family so I thought it was perfect.....

And it can be hung on a wall.....

When I gave it to her, she asked if I bought one for myself.....

Say what ??????????????

I actually never thought of it ......

Stupid me!!

So I did go back and grabbed the last one and a few more things.....

Loved these aqua ceramic owls as I will be incorporating a bit of Aqua into my Elegant Fall decor in the Living Room this Season....

It too is scented like the gold one and this one has a pine scent....

 This sign is 2 sided....

I am currently using this side in my Kitchen which is decorated for Late Summer/Early Fall in a Sunflower and Apple theme....

And I will switch it to this side when I decorate the Kitchen in my Falloween theme....

And this sweet sunflower is also in my Kitchen right now

I once again used a $5 off $25 coupon....

I have bought a few Christmas items at Gabes during these 2 visits but I am saving them for a future post on my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas....

I went to Micheal's for the first time in about a year.....

Yes, you are reading that right!!!

I used to stop in Michael's at least 2-3 times a week when I was working......

I bought the wax coated candle light bulbs that I use in the candles on my Kitchen hutch and this small sweet tray that was on Clearance for 70% off.....

I also had a 25% of purchase coupon so the 4 packages of 2 light bulbs each and this, only cost $8 and change.....

Dollar Tree.....

Another small haul from Dollar Tree which I go to frequently as I am looking for 2 things in the Halloween Dollar Tree Plus section that I have not found yet ......

I am thinking of using this on a wreath....

And I can always use those acorns in decor....

I love these florals and pine cones......

I waited for 2 years, after seeing this on a "Shop with me" you tube video, to find this at one of our Dollar Tree stores!!!

I will be embellishing it a bit and it will go in my Powder Room for Halloween....

And that is my latest Haul....

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I bought...

I love watching Haul videos on You Tube too.....

I hope you have a great weekend and I will be back with my next post on MONDAY!!!

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY...

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
