There are so many ways one can style a Summer Time Tray but when I think of Summer, I think of Gardening and Flowers...

So I thought I would do something whimsical......

A Fairy Garden on a Tray for my interpretation of a Summer Time Tray....

I usually do a tablescape when I participate in these Blog Tours and this post will be no different.....

I first started with this "tray" so to speak....

 It is a wooden pedestal....

I placed a vintage doily on top of it....

There is a pink tablecloth on my Dining Room table along with a vintage embroidered scarf that the "Tray" was placed on...

We will start with the center of the table......

Flanking the pedestal "tray" on each side are battery operated lighted branch trees......

On top of the "tray" is a Fairy Garden scene.....

A Fairy House.....

And 2 Fairies enjoying the afternoon in the garden in front of the house...

On the left side of the Pedestal "Tray"....

A hummingbird is resting in this tree...

When we cut and trimmed the lilac tree in our back yard, I had Joe cut a few wood slices for me from the larger branches....

I then sealed them with a polyurethane which gave them a nice shine.....

A Fairy on a swing and one giving a dog a bath....

I placed the pedestal on top of a wood looking charger plate...

Under an arch, sitting on a bench, is a Fairy reading a book.....

2 other Fairies are sitting on each side....

 On the right side.....

 A bird in this tree....

 Another wood slice....

More Fairies....

On a white lace like vinyl place mat in the center of the table....

Another Fairy scene with another Fairy House....

And more Fairies!!

And that is my interpretation of Summer Time on a Tray in a Fairy Garden.....

Shall we look at how I set the tablescape for a Fairy Land Tea....

I used white lace vinyl place mats with the wood look charger plates....

The tea cups and saucers are vintage yellow Fiestaware.....

These melamine dinner plates, that I bought in Big Lot's a few years ago, simply scream Summer to me!!

They are bright and colorful and have Flowers on them!!!

And the desert plates have butterflies on them!!

My flatware are actually plastic ones that I bought in the very early Spring in Dollar Tree!!!

The pretty napkins also came from Dollar Tree!!!

On the other side of the table.....

Reminds me of a Summer Picnic!!

In the Fairy Garden!!!

 In the Evening....

 Sort of magical.....

I hope you enjoyed my Fairy Garden as my interpretation of Summer Time on a Tray!!!

If you are wondering where this Fairy Garden is set up in my house, I will soon be posting my Fairy Garden Mantel in the the Sitting Room.....

 So stay tuned!!!

  8. How amusing are all your plays that claim spring. I keep thinking that Debbie must have a very big house to be able to store so many decorative objects
I understand very well that Debbie is very happy doing all these decorations
