I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Kitchen Fall /Halloween Decorations, Part 1, 2019

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

In previous posts, I shared my Fall/Halloween Tree in the Kitchen, which is new this year as I never set up this Tree in the Kitchen before Christmas ....

Click HERE if you missed that post.....

And I also shared how I decorated the Hutch in the Kitchen for Fall with a touch of Halloween........
And this wall in our Kitchen.....
Click HERE if you missed that post......

Today, I will be sharing more Fall and Halloween decorations in the Kitchen and I will be doing it in 2 posts because I have a lot of share as I did a bit more decorating in the Kitchen than I have in previous years........
I recently commented on another Blogger's post that I enjoyed seeing the photos of her Kitchen taken  at a distance, showing the whole Kitchen along with the vignettes.......

So I decided I would do the same so you can get a better feel of my Kitchen and just how small it is!!!

For today, we will start here at the stove......
 In the corner.......
I hung a few Fall oven mitts that I bought at Dollar Tree and Dollar General......
You may remember that I bought a bunch of things at Dollar Tree this Season.....
I bought this pumpkin sign.....
I like hanging pot holders on the handles of the kitchen cabinets for decoration.....
Love the green background on this potholder....
A very long time ago, I made these crocheted refrigerator magnets that I like to attach to the oven hood......
I bought the plastic canvas ones at a craft fair.....
And in case you are wondering, they have never fallen off into what was cooking on the stove....

At least not yet.....

On the side of the stove......
A Halloween potholder and a rooster rug beater.......
I hung an out door canvas mini flag on a magnetic curtain rod on the side of the stove!!
I usually hang pretty dish towels here that I don't want to use.....

I simply added a few faux Fall leaves and flowers and apples to the vintage Planters Peanut container that holds vintage rolling pins.....
A white ceramic stacked pumpkin sits on the floor.......
Fall and Halloween dish towels hang on the stove handle....
On the counter next to the stove.....
A cute Fall sign that I bought in Michael's last year.......
I bought this cute Apple dish towel at Dollar General this year.....
Our Kitchen window used to be above the sink before we made what was the patio into another room and took out the window and the back door......
You may remember that I had this sign hanging above the sink in the Summer......
I changed it out for my other "Galley" sign.....
My neighbor Elly and I both bought identical signs at a "yard sale" that Red Lobster had in their parking lot when they remodeled several years ago......

After she passed away, I "inherited" her sign which I painted white and added the metal sign that says,"Friends and Family Gather Here" to it.......
For the Fall, I switched it out for the original "Galley" sign because I like the darker rich colors of it ....
I hung a swag that looks like Fall leaves on top of the "Galley" sign......

The tea cup chandy that I made......
I added a bow made out of the plaid ribbon that I have used through out the Kitchen for Fall......
And cloth apples hang in the center of the chandy....
I hung green metal leaf ornaments from the gingerbread brackets on each side of the cabinets.....
On the left side of the cabinets....
I hung new Dollar Tree oven mitts......
And the embellished mason canning jar signs from Dollar Tree......
You may remember that post.....
If not, please click HERE......

On the right side.....
On the window ledge.........
A few close ups....
 Fall florals .....
The owl is from a set of salt and pepper shakers.....

Last year, Joe got the gourd candle holders, that I placed pumpkins on and added a plaid ribbon bow to, at one of the stores that were damaged by the tornado, for free!!
A set of battery operated lights inside a Fall crackle glass hurricane jar.....
The Gather sign was bought at Dollar Tree.....
 More Fall florals......
Canvas leaves from Dollar Tree placed on top of the doilies......
And as we turn the corner.....
You can see that I have very little counter space.....
A Halloween and a Fall A Mason Jar dish towel......
I added a few sunflower stems to this wire tea cup in the corner of the corner......
There is a small set of lights strung inside of it too.....
And the other side of the counter is where my beverage center is.....
Above the counter on this side of the Kitchen...
An apple sign that I bought at Dollar Tree.....
This one I can use all year round because it goes so well with my Kitchen....
A few weeks ago, I shared this little Beverage Center of mine......
I shared the Sunflower sign in that post.....
I bought it at Michael's this year after wanting it last year, only to find that it had sold out.....
I switched out the Rooster place mat that I had here with a plaid one in Fall colors.....
And a pumpkin platter that I bought at Dollar Tree last year.......
On top of the refrigerator.....
I added a few Fall touches.....
 A Jack O Lantern......
An arrangement of Fall flowers and leaves in the vintage yellow enamelware coffee pot.....
 A green glass leaf......

A cute wooden Fall mason canning jar that I bought in Michael's this year....
 And a Fall Gourde.....
The Rooster rugs that I bought at J.C. Penney's work well with my Fall decor too.....
I hope you enjoyed seeing this part of our Kitchen decorated for Fall with a touch of Halloween.....
I guess I should mention that on the refrigerator is my collection of magnets from different places......

In my next post, I will be sharing the counter bar area in the Kitchen......
 Different garland.....
A valance that I made.......
And a curtain.......
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!
