I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Halloween Tree in the Dining Room, 2019

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Even though the Living Room is decorated for Autumn, I decorate the Dining Room for Halloween.......

In a previous post, I shared my Witch's Brew and Potion Station on our Dining Room Buffet.....
Click HERE if you missed that post....

And I also shared Halloween Vignettes in the Dining Room.....
Please click HERE if you missed that post.....

Before I go any further, I want to Thank Bev, over at Across the Blvd., for choosing to feature my post, Autumn Tree and "Pumpkin Patch" from last week's Snickerdoodle Create, Bake and Make link Party!!
Thanks so much , Bev!!

Today, I am going to be sharing this corner of our Dining Room......
And my Halloween Tree.....
I  set the Tree up on a round table......
I have window dividers that separate the Dining Room and the Living Room.....
I hung a few Halloween signs on the window.....
And on the floor beside the table that the Tree is on.....
A sweet Witch bought at Wegman's......
And a pumpkin wrapped in the same black spider web fabric as the Witch's dress......
Along with a bony foot and a few rats......
A bow made from 2 types of silver and black ribbon hangs on the wall clock along with a cute witch....
I bought this silver Tree in Big Lot's a few years ago.....
I like to top off my Trees with a bow and I made this one from 3 different types of ribbons....
I decorated it with Halloween ornaments like skulls......
Spiders.....
Bony hands.......

Skeletons.......
Ghouls.....
Witch's Hats......
Bats and Owls.......
I made a tree skirt out of some Halloween fabric that I had......
And I used a black spider web topper over a white tablecloth on the table.....

Underneath the Tree......
A Halloween basket I made out of a peat pot......
A silver mercury glass pumpkin that I embellished with an orange rhinestone trim and a bow made from lace and silver ribbon......
A "Happy Hauntings" sign sits in front of the pumpkin.......
On the side of the Tree on a marble topped plant stand......
A Black Bird Cage rests in a white milk glass compote bowl....
On top of the bird cage is a crow and inside of it is a silver skull....
Underneath it are 2 white pumpkins and a black Jack O Lantern........
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Halloween Tree......
The last few weeks, I have been busy cleaning and decorating the upstairs for Christmas......

I bought a new white 4 1/2 foot Tree for the Sitting Room as the 6 foot one that I have used for the last few years was starting to look a bit dirty......

Here is a sneak peak of the Christmas decorations in the Sitting Room......
In the beginning of November, I will begin to post over on my Christmas Blog.......

In my next post, I will be sharing a simple Halloween Tablescape.....
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  5. I love your tree Debbie. The silver and black together really makes it work. You have so many great decorations that make it awesome and the netting at the bottom adds elegance to it all.

  6. My, my....you really do love to decorate!!!! There is so much to look at...and smile at:) I tend to go a little overboard at Christmas, but only put out a few things at Halloween and other holidays. You need to have a Halloween Home Tour...kids (and adults) would love it!!!!!

  11. Girl, you go all out!! Wow. Would love to hear where and how you store your decorations in the off-season. My method is not appealing at all to my husband and we have numerous disagreements over my bins of stuff. Love the potions bar. The skeleton in bow tie. Everything is adorable.
