Halloween Tablescape in the Dining Room, 2019

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

A few weeks ago, I had our kids come over for Sunday dinner and I thought I would play with a Halloween tablescape.....

I started off with a vinyl Halloween tablecloth that I bought in Big Lot's....
I then put down my vinyl black spider web place mats......
2 orange chargers.....
And 2 black chargers, which I had spray painted with black chalkboard paint a few years back......
Next came the melamine Autumn dinner plates that I bought at a flea market years ago....
I love the design on them....
Last year, I bought these melamine Halloween dessert plates at 90% off in Target...
Each set was originally 4 for $10.00...at 90% off they were 4 for $1.00!!!!
Much to my surprise when I opened the pack, I discovered that there were 4 different kinds of plates......

Aren't they cute?????
I also bought napkins and paper cups at Target at 90% off so I decided to use them too and would leave them out for our family dinner.....
I used my everyday Oneida silverware.....
I only used one set of the plates ......
Next year, I think I will use one set of these plates to create a display in my hutch in the Kitchen for Fall and Halloween!!
I grabbed a few Halloween decorations that I already had in the Dining Room......
 To add to the tablescape.....
I am going to let the photos do most of the talking.....
It was just a simple little tablescape for Halloween!!!

I had fun playing with it as I don't do tablescapes often because for Heavens Sake, where would Joe read the newspaper in the morning?????

God Forbid!!!!

LOL!!

This weekend,  I hosted a Fall/Halloween Family Get Together ......

I made lasagna and Joe made whimpies and we ordered chicken fingers, macaroni salad and Italian Bread from Wegman's and turkey and cheese keilbasi.....

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with our 2 sons and daughter-in-law along with our niece Renae and great nieces Cortney, Caitlin and Carly .....

I only took a few photos because I simply forgot to take more and we are not the type of family to pose for pictures.....

Our oldest son Joey, resting on the sofa after eating along with our great niece Carly who is eating candy out of her Halloween bag that we gave the girls!!
Have I mentioned before how much Joey dislikes having his picture taken????
Carly on the other hand, does not mind!!  LOL!!
Cortney was watching football after eating.....
Our son Jim and his wife Danielle talking with our niece Renae and our great niece Caitlin.....
Of course, I sent them all home with take home containers like I always do.....

I wanted to share a link from a local Home and Garden TV show that we have here....

 https://wnep.com/2019/10/19/home-and-backyard-visits-mackenzie-childs/

They visited Mackenzie Childs farm in upstate NY and I know how popular that line is with many Bloggers....

In my next post, I will be sharing my Victorian Doll House decorated for Halloween.....
And a few Fall/Halloween decorations in the Powder Room.....
   And hall way......
I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

  1. I love your table for Halloween! I wish my hubby would let me decorate our table, but he hates table covers and he doesn't like to have anything but his junk on the table unless it is dinner. LOL!
