I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Halloween Vignettes in the Dining Room, 2018

 Welcome!!!

In my last post, I shared the first of my posts showcasing my Halloween decorations in our Dining Room......

This is my Edgar Allan Poe Buffet........
Click HERE if you missed that post.......

In this post, I will be sharing some of the Halloween vignettes that I created in our Dining Room........

But first, I want to Thank Maria Elena, over at Our Home Away From Home, for featuring my Fall Front Porch, from last week's Tuesday's At Our Home Party!!
 Thanks so much, Maria Elena!!

And I also want to Thank Cathy, over at A Delightsome Life, for featuring my post,  Fall Front Yard and An Amazing Sunset,  from last week's Home and Garden Thursday Party!!!
 Thanks so much, Cathy!!

Please stop by and link up to these lovely parties!!!!!

As I mentioned, I shared the buffet in our Dining Room decorated in an Edgar Allan Poe Theme.......
Let's move around the Dining Room as I share more Halloween decorations.......
Next to the buffet......
Is a small curio........
Above the curio.......
On the shelf above the curio.......
A bow made from Halloween ribbon and a pumpkin box.......
The top of the curio.......
This is the runner on top of the hutch next to the curio.......
On top of the curio......
A Pumpkin Man.......
A Halloween house......
A few skulls including the one in the middle resting in a bony hand......
A vase filled with an arrangement of Fall leaves and black twigs and a vintage style Halloween card are to the right of the Halloween house.......
On the floor in front of the curio.....
A Skeleton sits on stacked boxes......
Pumpkins that I embellished......
This one I glued a black skull to........
Next to the curio is the Hutch....
The top of the Hutch.....
Hanging above the Hutch is a Halloween Tussie Mussie that I made.......
A black spooky tree with bats in it......
A black crow or maybe it is a raven and another vintage styled post card........
Yankee Candle Pumpkin people......
This ceramic Haunted House is special to me because Joe bought it for me the first Halloween we were married.......
It is 40 years old!!!!!
The tombstones are actually candy boxes that were filled with candy bones bought at Dollar Tree......
Another Yankee Candle Pumpkin person, a "raven" and another vintage style Halloween post card.......
On the window divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room......
I recently bought this cute plaque at Dollar Tree......
An Edgar Allan Poe picture that Joe bought on Clearance last year......
I bought these on clearance in Big Lot's a few years back for a little over $1.00!!
Over on the opposite wall........
On the shelf beneath the picture.....
A Spider Web rest behind a jar that I made.......
A Skeleton Bride and Groom sit on the shelf flanked by 2 silver tea cups.........
Over in the corner by the Kitchen.....
On top of another curio.......
But first, on the side of the curio is a shelf......
A Skeleton Bride and Groom.....
On top of the curio.......
A white pumpkin with a face that I painted on wearing a Witch's Hat that I embellished....
A Halloween bow that I made decorated the top of the curio.......
You may remember the tombstone that I bought in the Summer for a mere $1.00!!
I accentuated the markings and "RIP" with a white marker.......
The small white pumpkin has an owl sitting on top of it and says "Boo!"
Hanging on the faux window next to the curio is another Tussie Mussie that I made......
To the left of the curio........
On a marble topped table is the funeral basket that I decorate for every Season and Holiday.......
A lighted Halloween garland is wrapped around the handle with a spider web tucked in back of the floral arrangement........
A Halloween bow is also attached to the handle.......

Black roses and fall leaves make up the arrangement in the basket......
On the table.......
A Skeleton in a casket that I made.......

An Antique Funeral card.........
A spider web place mat is on the table.......
On the floor beneath the table is an antique Ladies boot which looks like a Witch's Boot......
On the cabinet next to the curio.........
A silver pumpkin with a crow in top sits in a milk glass compote bowl sits on top of the Melodion...........
Black doilies and fall leaves are tucked in the milk glass bowl........
Candleholders on each side of the melodion.......
 "Creepy"
Tombstones bought at Dollar Tree years ago......
And that is the end of my little tour around our Dining Room decorated for Halloween......

In my next post, I will be sharing one more area of our Dining Room.......
The corner where I have set up my silver Halloween Tree.......
And the table to the left of the Tree......
And the marble topped plant stand to the right of it......
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
