Today, I will be sharing my Halloween Tree in the Dining Room and a few things around the Tree.......
But first, I want to Thank Karren, over at Oh My Heartsie Girl, for featuring my post, Autumn Tree in the Living Room, from last week's Friday Feature Linky Party!!!
Thanks so much, Karren!!
I also want to Thank, Mary, over at The Boondocks Blog, for featuring the same post, Autumn Tree in the Living Room, from last week's Sweet Inspiration Link Party!!!
Thanks so much, Mary!!
Please stop by and link up to these great parties!!
This will be the 3rd post sharing my Halloween decorations in the Dining Room......
In the first post, I shared my Haunting Edgar Allan Poe Buffet
Click HERE if you missed that post.......
In my last post, I shared some Halloween Vignettes in the Dining Room.......
Click HERE if you missed that post......
And in this post, I will be sharing my Halloween Tree in the Dining Room.......
You can see that it is in the corner between the Dining Room and the Living Room.......
But before we take a look at the Tree, let's look at the small table next to the Tree.......
On the table, is a stack of books on Brews, Enchantments and Poisons......
Sitting in a vintage crystal bowl is a silver pumpkin with a crow, or raven if you should be so inclined to call it, and a spider resting on it......
I recently bought a roll of orange sequin like trim for $1.00 in Michael's and glued them to the pumpkin......
I thought the orange "glammed "up the pumpkin a bit!!
Sitting beneath the pumpkin are 2 peat pots that I decorated for Halloween a few years ago and filled with candy corn......
In the cente of the table, is a skeleton held by a boney hand!!!
A vintage style Halloween post card.....
A Fall/Halloween arrangement in a crystal vase on the other side of the table.......
Underneath the table.......
An embellished pumpkin sits on a pedestal......
More pumpkins and a bony foot are on the floor by the table.......
And a few more pumpkins on the other side of the table......
Now we will take a look in this corner where the Tree is.......
On the window divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room.......
I hung a Halloween sign and some ornaments........
And a spider web with a vintage style Halloween post card tucked into the webbing.......
I bought a new silver Tree 2 years ago on Clearance after Christmas in Big Lot's......
The one I had before was rather filmsy and much wider.......
I think this one is a much better fit here on the round table.......
I topped the Tree off like I usually do with a bow......
The bow is made from 3 different types of ribbons.......
I tucked a spray of black flowers into each side of the tree at the top.......
I decorated the tree with several types of Skull ornaments.......
Skeletons......
Creepy looking Jack O Lanterns......
Owls......
Bats......
Witch's Hats.......
Spiders.......
And Bony Hands.......
The Tree was wrapped in a black leaf garland before any ornaments were put on and then a wired silver garland was wrapped around the Tree when I finished decorating it.......
There are also silver and black ball ornaments and a few Halloween ornaments on the Tree........
I used a white round tablecloth as a topper and then placed a black spider web round topper over the white one.......
At the base of the Tree are 2 silver mercury glass owls........
A silver pumpkin and a "Happy Hauntings" sign.......
And what I will call mice instead of rats!!!
I made the Tree skirt out of a piece of Halloween fabric that I already had...........
There is a wall clock to the left of the Tree........
A bow and a candle stick that I painted black and glued a silver skull to sits on top of the clock.......
A cute Witch tassel that I just bought at Michael's hangs from the clock.........
On a marble topped stand next to the Tree, sits a black bird cage.........
Another bow and a "Raven" crowns the top of the birdcage........
Inside the birdcage is a silver skull.......
A few skulls, eyeballs and a bone sit in front of the birdcage.......
I hope you enjoyed seeing this corner of the Dining Room decorated for Halloween......
In my next post, I will be sharing my Haunted Victorian Doll House..............
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
