Today, I will be sharing my Living Room Autumn Tree.......
We finally got some cooler weather so we took out the air conditioner from the Living Room window.......
You can see that I changed over to my Winter curtains and drapes,,,,,,,,
After doing that, I was able to change Trees, taking the white Tree that was decorated for the Summer Patriotic Holidays.......
We then brought the platform that I set up my Christmas Village on, downstairs and placed it in the corner.........
Joe brought the 7 foot Slim Tree, that will stay here until after Easter, home from our Storage Shed.......
This is a picture of our Dining Room Tree but you can see how it is stored when I strip it down.......
After "fluffing" out the Tree and adding all the lights, I started to decorate it for Fall.......
I do not like Pre Lit Trees as they never seem to have enough lights on them!!
I like to put my own lights on according to the Rule of a minimum of 100 lights per foot....
This 7 foot Tree has over 900 lights on it.....
Okay, I went over what the Rule calls for!!
I also added a few strands of orange lights........
Let me turn off the lights so you can see the garland that I used better.......
This year, I added a gold beaded garland and an orange deco mesh garland that I bought at Dollar Tree..........
I topped off the Tree with some sparkly florals and a bow made from 3 different Fall ribbons.......
Here it is so far with the lights on again......
I then added some bronze, orange and gold ball ornaments.........
Next I added some Fall ornaments and tucked in a few Fall florals......
Then I finished the Tree off by wrapping it in a wired leaf garland.....
And here it is.......
My Autumn Tree...........
Let's take a closer look at the Tree all decorated.......
You can see that I have a LOT of leaf ornaments on the Tree........
And pumpkins.....
A fox.......
A squirrel.....
Owls bought at Dollar Tree......
Birds.......
More owls....
Scarecrows........
Did I say lots of leaves???????
And even acorns.......
In another post, I will be sharing how it looks lit up in the evening........
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I created my Living Room Autumn Tree .......
I mentioned the platform that is under the Tree........
And set up what I call the "Pumpkin Patch"........
In my next post, you will see how I used some of the "New" things I recently bought and embellished to create this year's "Pumpkin Patch" under my Autumn Tree.......
So I hope you will come back to visit as I share the rest of this corner in our Living Room decorated for Fall......
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Always so pretty, Deb. I can't wait to see the nighttime. That is always my favorite when your trees are lit up..xxoHappy Fall, Judy
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your seasonal trees, Debbie...beautiful, as always!
ReplyDeleteWOW! A busy tree, but sooooo awesome! Pinned for inspiration. Growing up, we always kept our tree up all year (and my mom still does) and decorated for the different seasons/holidays. I would like to start this tradition now... just low on space. Not sure how I will do it, but I really want to for the new year. Beautiful tree! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWould love if you came to link up! And enter the giveaway for an Etsy gift card :)!

Very fun! My aunt used to do a post Christmas snowflake tree for January and a Heart/Valentine's Day tree for February before taking it down for the year. It filled her winter months :). Thanks for sharing at last week's RTT Party - hope to see you this week: http://www.jodiefitz.com/2018/10/09/reader-tip-tuesday-weeks-craft-recipe-party-14-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2/
ReplyDeleteFinally someone who shares my love of fall. Debbie you are my feature this week at Sweet Inspiration! Your tree is magnificent!!
ReplyDeleteWow Debbie, 900 lights!!! That's incredible but it does make such a big difference to the whole look.
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial on how to decorate a tree. A fall tree is a wonderful start to the holiday seasons. I have a love/hate relationship with pre-lit trees. They burn out too easily.
