I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

A Bit of Halloween Fun!!!!

Welcome and Happy Halloween!!!

This was a post that I had not expected to do but this Halloween brought us a bit of Fun......

More than we have had in several years since we hardly get any Trick or Treaters anymore......

It was a beautiful sunny day with temps. in the mid 60's which we have not seen for over a month.....

Joe and I were sitting on the front porch enjoying the nice weather when we saw our neighbor, Lynn, coming home from work.......
Lynn works at the the VA Hospital that is located right by our townhouse development.....
They allow their employees to dress up for Halloween........

It is no longer allowed at the Hospital that I work for....They consider it  "Unprofessional"........
Lynn dresses up every year but this costume is by far one of her best ones!!!!!
I also want to show you what Lynn looks like without all that make up on!!!
What an amazing transformation, huh??????

Lynn and her son were going to a Halloween get together that evening........
Her son Ben was dressed as a Mad Doctor!!

Of course, I had to give them some treats.........
Don't they look great????
Then my Co Worker and friend, Mariella, took my up on my invitation to bring her daughter, Rosemary, trick or treating at our house.......
Her daughter is 8 years old and Mariella always dresses up too for Halloween........
Don't they look great as Zombies???????
Rosemary loved my doll house!!!!
We enjoyed having them over.........

My good friend, Anne Marie, always decorates for Halloween.......

This is Anne Marie and I at our church's Harvest Tea, which I was a Hostess at.......

In fact, it was Anne Marie who got me back into decorating for Halloween after I had stopped doing so when my sons got older........

She shared these photos on face book of her lovely home decorated for Halloween............

The Dining Room table.........
A Psychic Reader...........
The mantle in the Dining Room........
Also in the Dining Room.......
In her Living Room........
Isn't this amazing??????
Don't you just love it all????????

And she also dressed her sweet little dog, Autumn, up for Halloween in not only one costume but 2 costumes!!!!!!
OMG!!!

Too cute!!!

Our Great Nieces Caitlin, Carly and Cortney also had a wonderful time Trick or Treating!!!
And carving pumpkins!!!

And last, I thought I would share how the front of our house looks all lit up for Halloween......
I hope you had a great Halloween!!!!

And I hope you will come back to visit again because soon I will be linking over to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas, where I will be starting to share my Christmas posts for this Holiday Season.......

  4. Looks like you all had a wonderful Halloween Debbie. I love your friend's skeleton playing piano. I've got to try find a life sized skellie for our piano next year. It looks so cool and her little fur baby is just aaawwwwwwww. I'm not sure ours will let us dress them up, but it's worth a try ;-)
