I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

 Thanks so much, Laurie!!!!

O MY!! Thanks to all these hostesses who were so kind to feature my posts!!

I do have to apologize because in my last 2 posts, I was a bit pressed for time with being a hostess for our Church's Harvest Tea and working that I forgot to include some of these Thank You's in my last 2 posts!!

That is why there are so many in this post!!

I still have a bit more of my Fall and Halloween decorations to show you.......

In the hallway from the Living Room to the Kitchen...........

On a mirror that hangs on the wall between the Coat Closet and the Powder Room........
A wreath that I made several years ago......
I hung a plaque from Dollar Tree in the center of the wreath.......
I had a few extra Fall flowers and some berries so I decided to add them to this wreath.......
I definitely like the fuller look.......

You can see the extra flowers in orange and gold that I added.....
And some berries that I had......
I like how it turned out.......
What do you think????

This is a child's rake that I decorated also several years ago.......
Hanging on the Powder Room door.........
A black and white Halloween wreath that I made........
Black and silver bats are clipped to the wreath.......
A spider web bought many years ago at Dollar Tree hangs in the center of the wreath........
With some creepy spiders on the wreath..........
Below the wreath hangs another Halloween sign from Dollar Tree.......
I used to have this hanging in the Dining Room but replaced it with something new this year so it found a new home here on the Powder Room door........
I had embellished it a bit by adding silver glitter to it!!
The Powder Room is currently decorated in a pink, black and white color theme........
In the Powder Room, hanging on the medicine cabinet door.........
 Is a Candleabra Halloween ornament........
Next to it on the wall, is a black half pumpkin that I also embellished with lace and ribbon and this year, I added pink velvet leaves to it !!
On top of the toilet is a pumpkin that I painted pink and added some flowers and ribbon to.......
I have it displayed on a silver plate with black and white doilies......
And more pink velvet leaves!!
On the sink is another pink pumpkin......
 And on a stand.......
Is a white pumpkin and a pink glittered one that I bought in JoAnn Fabrics several years back.......
There is also a black rose and a pink velvet leaf in a Sterling Silver Tussie Mussie.......
Up on one of the wall shelves........
Are 2 Halloween Snow Buddies........
It won't be long until the entire Powder Room is decorated with Snow Buddies for Christmas and Winter.......
I also want to share an area in my Kitchen........

This is the counter bar in the Kitchen.......
I didn't get to share this area when I did my 2 other posts on the Fall/Halloween decorations in the Kitchen.......
The reason was because I was waiting for something.......

In my last post, I shared my Theme Table for our Church's annual Harvest Tea..........
I had bought a pretty plaid runner in Fall colors at Dollar General for a mere $6.00 to use down the center of my table for the Harvest Tea.......
See it in these photos????
When the Tea was over, I thought that I would use it in my Kitchen........
It was pretty much a perfect match for the wreath that I made using a Fall plaid ribbon!!
It was too long so I cut it to fit the counter bar........
I just glued some orange trim to both edges to finish it off.......
I also added something else to this area......
You may remember that one of the favors for my guests at the Harvest Tea were these pumpkins that I made out of toilet paper????
I made 2 more and placed them on top of the Fiesta ware cups and saucers.......
I thought they looked cute here.....
I love the colors in this runner.......
 Perfect for Fall.........
I had quite a bit of fabric left over from the Toilet Paper Pumpkins since I used a tablecloth......
I decided to make a curtain for the lower section of the counter bar.......
The curtain hides the area that I use as storage below the microwave.....
I change the curtain here for different Seasons.....
And that is how I decorated this area for Fall in my Kitchen......
When I cut the runner to fit the counter bar, I still had enough left over to make a small one for the desk area of the Hutch.....
When I bought the runner, I also bought the last matching place mat for $2.00.....

I used it here at the Beverage Bar Area.....
I think I got my money's worth for my $8.00........

I hope you enjoyed seeing our home decorated for Fall and Halloween this year......

We celebrated the Season with a family dinner today.....

Fall is the perfect Season for comfort food.........

Joe made Whimpies as Sloppy Joe's are known here in NEPA.......
I made Lazy Lady's Pierogie Lasagna.......
And also Beef Stew.......
For dessert, we had Apple Pie from Sam's Club topped with Cool Whip and ice cream......

We had a lovely family dinner.......

In my next post, I will be sharing the other Hostess Tables from the evening of the Harvest Tea ........
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
