I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Winter/Valentine's Home Tour with 12 Trees, 2023

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

I am now posting 3 times a week !!!

I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be doing my Annual Winter/Valentine's Home Tour post....

In my last post, I shared the rest of my Living Room decorated for Valentine's/Heart Month....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Today I am sharing how my townhouse looks all decked out for Winter/Valentine's in my Annual Home Tour including pictures of the downstairs hall which I have not shared yet...

This Winter has been a Bust in regards to Winter weather and I do not even have pictures of how the front of the house looks decorated for Winter with Snow!!

I am sure we will be paying for this crazy Winter come March and April .....

We usually get some of our BEST Snowstorms in March!!!

 Today is Super Bowl Sunday....

I have never ever watched a Super Bowl game let alone a football game on TV for that matter.....

I usually had to work as it always seemed to fall on my weekend to work which was fine with me as I only care about the half time show!!

Joe, being an avid Pittsburgh  Steeler fan and only a Steeler fan, will NOT be watching the Super Bowl even though we live in Pa.

He really hates all Philly teams and is Pittsburgh all the way....

If anything, he is routing against The Eagles.....

Now let's start the tour.......

THE HALLWAY

I haven't shared the hallway from the Living Room down to the Powder Room and Kitchen yet....

I like to decorate this mirror between the coat closet and the Powder Room.....

I made this wreath a long time ago but decided to freshen it up this year....

I hung this Valentine's truck plaque that Joe bought last year for 90% off!!

And I changed the bow for a new one I made with ribbon I bought this year after Christmas....

I made another bow from the 2 ribbons to hang above this wreath I made last year....

 On the opposite galley wall......

I hung a swag with another bow on it....

It took me a total of 15 days to change over the outside and downstairs from Christmas to Winter/Valentine's decor....

And I still have 12 Trees up decorated for Winter/Valentine's......

Since February is Heart Month and Easter is not until April 9th this year, I will be leaving all this up until the last week of February.....

I hope we will get some snow by then so at least it will feel like Winter!!!

I hope you enjoyed the Tour!!!

Not sure what I will be posting on TUESDAY but I hope you will stop by to visit again !!!!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  1. So pretty! I just love all the Valentine decor. I don't watch football, either. OR sports. I guess my husband is watching the super bowl, but I bet he falls asleep. All the series on PBS that I watch on Sunday nights are having their season finale's tonight so I will either be in my cozy bedroom or warm kitchen watching (because we only have "real cable" on one tv, and, even though I pay for an "app" with my cable company, it doesn't allow me to watch PBS on another tv.

  2. Happy Valentine's Day, Debbie ❣️
Many, many thanks for taking the time to share your beautiful home with me. It's always a joy to visit and see the lovely things you've collected. I sure couldn't pick a favorite room or vignette, but maybe the kitchen and den... The china hutch, the Tiffany lamps, the Victorian chair and the dish display in the upstairs hall would lead my "favorites" list..😍

  3. WOW! I was going to ask how long it takes to decorate your home, but you answered that question for me. You have so many lovely pieces, I enjoyed your Victorian touches, and I absolutely love vintage and antique photos which you have many! I love the way you decorate from floor to ceiling, but I have to ask... how do you store all of your decorations? We have Christmas decorations, but that is about the only holiday I go all out on. The rest are a bit of dabble here and there. I know my husband is like can you tame it down a bit, the house is bursting at the seams! I actually do not think I made any new Christmas purchases this past year and we still have a lot. I have taken over the basement and attic.

I finally got out of the house and went to a live auction, it had been years, but I enjoyed it so much. There were so many things to see, and I love to see what others collect. Your collections are top notch, and I do not think I can pick a favorite. Thank you for sharing with Whimsy Home Wednesday!

  5. I like your bright red Valentine's decorations, but I also like the blue and white snowmen and snowflakes for the winter season. It all looks very festive and cheerful. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 53.
