A Little Bit of Fall in the Kitchen!! 2021

  Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Just a reminder, I will be posting on Wednesdays and Sundays every week so be sure to check back on those days to see a new post......

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated most of the Kitchen for Fall and where I used all the things that I recently bought and embellished.....

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Well, Joe and Joey are back from Pittsburgh.....

They had planned to go to the National Aviary but on the day they got there, an Eagle named Kodiak escaped and the Aviary has been closed since!!

So they decided to go to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium even though they were there 3 years ago...

There actually was several new exhibits....

They did not get to stop at the Flight 93 Memorial again because of a Hail Warning in Somerset County....

They drove home through thunder storms and terrible fog so hopefully, God willing, they will get to the see the Tower Of Voices next year as they already saw the rest of the Memorial 4 years ago.....

And my vacation is over....

I got the entire Dining Room Fall house cleaned and decorated for Halloween in the 2 days that they were gone.....

A few sneak peeks....

It is amazing how much one can get done with no interruptions!!!

This is going to be a long post so grab a cup of coffee or tea and find a comfy chair..........

So let's start my Tour of my Fall Kitchen.....

Let's start here at the stove......

On the side of the stove.....

I filled my Grater planter with Fall florals and tucked a cinnamon smelling broom bought at Dollar General for a buck into the arrangement.....

I hung a Fall dish cloth from it.....

Looking in from the Den.....

I tucked a few Fall florals into the vintage Planter's Peanut canister filled with my rolling pin collection..

I hung an oven mit and a mini Fall flag from a magnetic curtain rod attached to the stove.....

I hung a Dollar Tree sign on the soffit......

A Halloween pot holder and crocheted magnet decorations that I made a very long time ago....

Fall pot holders and towels and a pumpkin that says "Thankful"......

Next to the stove on the countertop......

Where my window used to be before we made the patio into the Den......

I changed the swag to a Fall one and hung a Dollar Tree sign that Joe bought over this sign.....

I hung a Fall valance that I made from a tablecloth.....

And decorated the chandy that I made using demitasse cups and saucers......

I decorated this area using ornaments I made......

Hanging on the valance are the ones on the right which that I took apart and embellished a bit......

The third one I hung at the top of the chandy......

I embellished these canning jar signs from Dollar Tree last year.....

On what used to be the window sill....

I changed this all around from what it looked like other years....

My pumpkin crackle glass hurricane which Joe bought in Bed, Bath and Beyond.....

I am happy with the totally different look of this area for this year......

You can see I hung a similar sign but this one has sunflowers on it on the soffit over in this area of the Kitchen......

You may remember that I spruced up this wreath that I made a few years ago using a few new things I bought this year......

In the corner.....

My Beverage Center.....

I replaced the place mat with a Fall one and brought out my vintage Fiesta Ware bowls in orange and yellow to use for my creamers and sweetener packs ...

I embellished this Dollar Tree sign.....

Since we are finally getting some cooler weather, I stocked up this area with things for hot chocolate and flavored tea bags.....

On top of the refrigerator....

You may remember that I made this out of Pringles cans......

The Counter Bar area.....

I hung a Dollar Tree scarecrow that I added a bow to made from ribbon I had....

Again, I did something different with the pass through that I like to treat as a window......

Fall leaf garland with plaid bows and 2 Fall pillows......

Again, I hung a Dollar Tree sign that Joe bought and I embellished a bit over my Gallery sign.....

And hung the ornaments that I made on each side of the sign

Added some faux gourdes to the copper hanging baskets.....

On each side of the counter bar, you may recognize Dollar Iree pumpkins that I embellished....

I replaced the runner with a plaid Fall one....

You can see how small this wall is as the Dining Room is on one side and the hall way on the other.....

I made a cafe curtain for the area under the microwave from the same tablecloth as the valance.....

I bought this Fall mat at Dollar Tree....

And this one, Joe bought at Ollie's......

On the other side of the counter bar......

You can see by these pictures just how small my Kitchen is!!!

But I do pack a lot into it!!!

LOL!!

A few evening photos......

I hope you enjoyed this tour of the Fall areas in my Kitchen.....

In my next post, I will be sharing my Halloween Wall......

This year, I decided to decorate this wall including the Hutch and the Tree for Halloween......

  1. Wow, you accomplished so much with some time for yourself! We have been overrun with grandchildren, as usual, and I do have some fall decorations out. Most are scattered around as my helpers went through my boxes looking for "scawy" stuff. I love all the gingham pumpkins, so cute! You are so creative.

  10. Your fall & Halloween decor looks great! I love the Halloween chandelier and how you go all out decorating for each season and holiday. The little nook you created in your kitchen is so cute. I bet your children loved it when they were young. I know mine can't wait to break out the decor at Halloween and then at Christmas. For some reason they don't care to help too much during the other seasons. Maybe it's just because decorating at Halloween and Christmas means those holidays are close and they love them. Thanks for sharing on Happiness is Homemade! Traffic Jam Weekend is now open for sharing as well.
