I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Living Room Easter Tree and the Bunny Patch Underneath It!

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

I want to Thank Marilyn, over at Marilyn's Treats, for featuring my post, Ornaments to Use Year Round, February Rudolph Day, from last week's Over the Moon Linky Party!!!
 Thanks so much, Marilyn!!!

Please stop by and link up to this great party!!

I have been busy decorating for Easter and having a really good time doing so......

Today, I will be sharing my Easter Tree in the Living Room and the Bunny Patch underneath it!!

I stripped the Tree in the Living Room down to the lights and decided to add a few sets of LED pink/purple lights.....
I thought this would look pretty for Easter......

I added 2 different egg garlands and a pink beaded garland to the Tree......
I added greenery and a metal egg stake to the top of the Tree........
The bow is made out of an Easter ribbon from the Dollar Tree and purple and aqua deco mesh ribbon.....
I rolled up the streamers made from aqua, purple and white deco mesh ribbon for storage, causing them to curl like this when I put them on the Tree......
I then added all the Easter ornaments that I have collected over quite a few years.....
I then tucked purple, pink and white flowers into the Tree.....
I really do like the colored lights.....
In my last post, I shared the new drapes that I bought for the Living Room for less then $20....
I hung one pair on the window, one of the mirror and used the other pair to make valances......
I still have some fabric left so I may make pillows......
I am keeping this Tree up year round along with the platform underneath it.......
For Easter, I decided to do a Bunny Patch of sorts.....
I covered the platform with a mint green tablecloth......
Over on the left side.....
A sweet "Lady' Bunny.......
She is even wearing her pearls.....
A floral arrangement that I did in this container that I bought one year at Michael's for 90% off......
The pink Easter egg above is an Easter egg bank that I had as a kid.....
You may remember that I recently bought this in Gabes for $5.99........
You can see where I decided to use it.....
I bought this bunny 2 years ago in Tuesday Mornings for $8.00.......
It was originally $79.99.....

Really??????
Over on the right side......
A dapper looking Gentlemen Bunny......
Another arrangement that I did.....
This basket was my Easter basket as I child so it is about 60 years old!!
I wrapped a white fuzzy garland and lights around the handle.....
The egg with the bunny on it was made by my MIL......
The pink and purple eggs and bunnies were mine when I was a child.....
I did string a set of Egg lights throughout the display......
I am really happy with how it turned out.....
I am also happy with the aqua drapes and how they brightened up the room......
Several years ago, I went to an Estate Sale at a Florist's Shop and I bought the styrofoam form for this cross there for a few bucks.....
I wanted something more religious for Easter.....
And I thought this would definitely make a statement.....
I added a string of lights to it......
I missed decorating for Easter last year but I think I made up for it this year.....
In the evening......
I have a lot more Easter decorations to share.......
I hope you will stop by to visit again when I share the rest of the Living Room decorated for Easter in my next post!!
