Elegant Autumn Living Room Hutch and Entry, 2022

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am going to start posting 3 times a week !!!

Shorter posts might be a bit easier for me to do so after this post, I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

With the beginning of Fall, the HOLIDAY SEASON starts for me....

I consider the Holiday Season from September until after Easter as I decorate for all the Holidays and Seasons in between those months....

So I usually have a lot to share....

I have been told my posts are too long and some computers that are not updated have a hard time loading all the pictures...

So I will be doing shorter posts but 3 times a week instead of only 2...

I hope I can keep up with that schedule so we will see how it works out...

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be sharing the Entry and corner by the stairs in my Living Room decorated for Fall....

In my last post, I shared the final installment of my Series, What's in Your Hutch/ Curio?"

Click HERE to see that post if you missed it!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

 Food of the Week

Joe brought home some beef meatloaf and yukon mashed potatoes last night from work!!

This is one of the Dinners on next week's Reheat and Eat Menu!

I made a sauce for the meatloaf of tomato soup, a bit of water and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce....

It was so good!!

Joey's Friday night treat was bacon pizza from Norm's, a local Eatery!!

And since he does not eat breakfast or lunch either, he got himself an order of fries and chicken to eat with his pizza!!!

LOL!!

After 7 days of cleaning, changing over drapes, curtains and linens from Spring/Summer to Fall/Winter and then decorating for Fall, I finally finished the Living Room.....

Thank Goodness that the Dining Room, Kitchen and Powder Room will not take me as long as it took me to do the Living Room.....

I will be sharing the Living Room decorated in what I call an "Elegant Autumn" theme in 3 posts, starting today.....

Let's start at the Front Door.....

You may remember that I recently made this wreath.....

I wasn't sure where I was going to hang it but I think it looks pretty good here....

To the right of the door when you walk in......

If you are wondering about the container on the floor, it is used for our folding umbrellas....

I did a Fall Floral Arrangement in this vase that Joe pulled out of our dumpster last year......

I added battery operated lighted branches.....

On the marble topped stand.....

I filled the apothecary jar with a Fall Filler mix....

On the side of Joe's great Grandmother's Hutch.....

A brass fan and sconce......

I added Fall candle rings to the votives...

On the shelf....

Below the shelf.....

I replaced the Summer floral arrangement with a new Fall one I made up.....

I added it to a battery operated lighted branch.....

Joe's Great Grandmother's Hutch.....

The top of the Hutch.....

I bought the 2 Fall signs, that I painted the trim around them gold, at Dollar General one year at 90 % off!!

Last year, I made the "pumpkins" out of crocheting thread.....

In the center of the Hutch is a piece of Fall garland....

A Fall berry tree....

And a bow I made...

The other side of the top of the Hutch....

Inside the Hutch.....

I replaced the aqua Summer accents in side the Hutch with orange and copper colored one.....

Top Shelf.......

Middle shelf.....

Bottom shelf......

On the other side of the Hutch, is another sconce and shelf.....

In the corner near the stairs.....

On the stairs......

On one side are the lanterns that I decorate for the different Holidays and Seasons...

My gold Angel fits in nicely here...

A Fall Angel, which I forgot to light up for the pictures, that I bought at a church Flea Market 4 years ago....

I changed what I normally put on this side of the stairs this year....

For many years, I put the pumpkins I made out of toilet paper rolls on this side of the stairs....

Since my theme for Fall in the Living Room is Elegant Autumn, I wanted that to be seen as soon as you enter through the front door so I placed some of the pumpkins that I embellished several years ago on the stairs instead....

These are what I call my Glitz and Glam pumpkins....

All of these were bought over many years on Clearance and embellished with things bought at Dollar Tree....

A wreath I made....

Joe bought the Fall sign one year at Big Lot's on Clearance...

Sorry for the glare on the pumpkins with crystals on them....

I do like the way these pumpkins glimmer in the evening with the lights from the Branch Tree....

As I have mentioned many times before, I use this chair for Seasonal and Holiday displays...

Again, more Glitz and Glam pumpkins and other things....

I bought the large glittered acorn in Big Lot's a few years back....

Underneath the chair....

A floral arrangement I did in a wagon bought at a yard sale....

Pumpkins, an owl and a candle in the lantern....

Next to the chair, on a marble topped plant stand is my Lighted Branch Tree....

I decorated it with leaf ornaments that I bought at Target years ago and painted and glittered in gold.....

Along copper colored ornaments that I bought several bags of in a Volunteer's of America Thrift Shop about 10 years ago!!

I place the Tree in a galvanized tray bought in Dollar General.....

And filled it with more Glitz and Glam pumpkins and other things.....

On the side of the Curio is a topiary I made last year from one bought at Five Below.....

I used a kit I had to paint them but added a bit more orange to it......

This is how it came out.....

I used the larger bottom pumpkin for another project....

This fit perfectly in this urn.....

And that is how the entry and corner by the stairs look this year all decked out for Fall......

While we are here, let's take a quick look down the hall at the decorations on the mirror between the Powder Room and the coat closet......

Another wreath that I made......

A scare crow, bought at Dollar Tree, that I added a sign to.....

A Dollar Tree sign.....

And on the coat closet door.....

A Fall pillow that I embellished......

I hoped you enjoyed seeing how I decorated this are of the Living Room.....

I love how the house looks in Fall as I adore the traditional deep rich Fall colors that make everything look very warm and inviting!!
