I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Pumpkin Kisses and Harvest Wishes

Welcome!!!

Today, I will finally be sharing a Fall project........

But first, I want to Thank Beverly, over at Across the Blvd. , for choosing my post, Fall Crafting in the Past, as one of her features from last week's Beautifully Made Link Party!!

Beverly and her co-host, Laurie, over at My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies, showcase their features for this party in their weekly Newsletters on Saturday!!
 Thanks so much, Beverly!!

I also want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn, for featuring my post, "Sprucing" Up With New Pots, Patio and Back Yard Cottage Garden Update, from last week's Thursday Favorite Things Link Party!!!
 Thanks so much, Bev!!!

And Thanks to Karren, over at Oh My Heartsie Girl,  for featuring the same post from last week's Friday Feature Linky Party!!!
 Thanks so much, Karren!!!

We finally have some cooler weather where we can open up the windows and let some fresh crisp air into the house!!!

The change in the weather has really put me in the mood for Fall!!!!

One of the stores that suffered damage when the Tornado hit the Shopping Centers right next to my house conducted a tent sale for several weeks and if you remember, I did share some great things that I bought there during the tent sale......

Unfortunately, the building that housed that store and one of our favorite places to eat sustained so much damage that it was among the ones that had to be demolished.....

The day before demolition, whatever was left for sale at the tent sale was FREE!!!!

Joe went down and picked up a few things and this picture was one of them.......
Now it is not really my style but I liked the canvas background........
So I decided to give it a bit of a make over for Fall......
I found this great plaque at Dollar Tree.........
Pumpkin Kisses and Harvest Wishes........
I thought it would be perfect to place in the middle over the Palm Tree.......
And this is what I came up with.....
I decided to trim the edges with some gimp trim that I had in my stash.......
I glued the gimp trim all around the inside of the frame......

I then glued some of the same trim around the plaque, framing it........
I also bought these glittered leaf clips at Dollar Tree.......
I removed the clips and glued them to each corner of the picture........
I placed the dark rust colored leaves in opposite corners.......

And the same with the orange leaves......
I hope you liked seeing my Make Over........

From this............
To this........
I plan on using my new Fall picture in the Living Room.........
I am once again participating in our church's annual Harvest Tea as a Hostess and my theme for my table this year is going to be "Pumpkin Kisses and Harvest Wishes"...

So you will also be seeing this Fall picture again........

In my next post, I will be sharing another Fall project.......

You may remember that I bought this handsome fellow at a church flea market for $2.00.....
I will be sharing how I "dabbled" and spruced him up a bit......

So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
