I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Easter "Mantle" and Vignettes, 2018

  Welcome!!

Today, I will be sharing more of my Easter decorations in the Living Room...

But first, I want to Thank Kathy, over at A Delightsome Life, for featuring my post,  For The Love of Tea Pots, from last week's Home and Garden Link Party!!
Thanks so much, Kathy!!!

I want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn, for featuring my post, St. Patrick's Day Decorations, Part 1, from last week's Thursday Favorite Things Party!!
Thanks so much, Bev!!!

Please stop by and link up to these lovely parties!!

In my last post, I shared my main Easter Tree in the Living Room......
Please click HERE if you missed that post.......

In today's post, I will be sharing how I decorated the top of the TV Entertainment Center for Easter and how I added a bit of Easter to existing vignettes in the Living Room.........

Let's start with the faux window that is next to the main Easter Tree in the Living Room......
I like to decorate this faux window for every Season and Holiday......
For Easter, I have hung an Easter Cross that I made on the mirror......
I bought the foam form at an estate sale that was held at a Florist's Shop a few years ago......
I used all kinds of Spring flowers and added a bow made from white deco mesh ribbon in the center.....
I hung vintage style Easter plaques on each side of the cross....
I also added a set of lights to the cross......
I love the way the Tree and the cross look lit up in the evening....
If you have visited here before, I am sure you have heard me mention that I treat the top of the TV Entertainment Center like a "Mantle"........
I have decorated a smaller Tree for Easter and I have set up a bit of an Easter Village......

Aqua mercury glass candle holders are on each side.........

Bunnies.......
A pastel bottle brush tree.........
Putz Houses bought at The Christmas Tree Shop several years go......
I decorated this smaller Tree similar to the larger Tree.........
It is topped with a bow made from aqua and purple deco mesh ribbon like the larger Tree......
The Tree is decorated with egg garland and egg ornaments.......
Underneath the Tree........
More putz houses.....
More bottle brush trees.......
Over on the other side......
More bunnies....
You can see that I added a set of pastel colors lights woven through out the display.....
This is how it looks in the evening.....
I have also added a few Easter items around the Living Room..........

The top of my vintage stereo......
The battery operated LED lit Bunny cloche was bought at Big Lots last year......
An embellished aqua Easter egg and a cute little egg with a duck on it.....
A cute bunny with carrots.......
Over on the round table in the corner by the Dining Room......
I have changed out the gold topper that was on this table since the Fall with a peach lace topper......
A few touches of Easter.......
A sweet bunny box and a few eggs.......
An Avon bunny that I bought many years ago......
A vintage lamb pulling a cart with 2 eggs in it that I crafted......
Over on the 3 tier table by the TV Entertainment Center.......
Another bunny and an embellished peach colored egg.....
On the round table on the other side of the TV Entertainment Center.......
I  replaced the gold tablecloth on this table with an ivory tablecloth and peach lace topper.....
An Easter basket filled with eggs and a cute little Bunny......
And on the marble topped stand by the front door......
Eggs fill the bottom of the large votive candleholder.......
An elegantly dressed Bunny couple and painted Easter egg....

This is where I will leave off for today.....

In my next post, I will be sharing this corner of the Living Room and yet another Easter Tree.....
And the top of the Hutch.....
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  12. I need to pay better attention at Big Lots because I missed the cloche at mine and I would have bought it too. Love all the pastels and the warm Spring feels you have created.
