In my last post, I mentioned that I would not be using the 6 foot white Tree as my Easter Tree this year.....
I will tell you why in a minute but first, I have some Thank You's to say!!!
I want to Thank these hostess's for featuring my post, For the Love of Tea Pots from last week's parties!!
Thanks to Sharon, over at The Blue Willow House, for choosing it as one of her features from last week's Snickerdoodle Create, Bake and Make Party!!
I also want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn, for choosing it as one of her features from last week's Over the Moon Party!!!
Thanks so much Sharon and Bev!!!!
I also want to Thank Sherry, over at The Journey Back, for featuring this post in her post, Happy Homemaker in Texas!!!
Sherry also hosts The Fabulous Party every Sunday!
Please stop by and link up to these great parties!!!
And again, Thanks to all these lovely Hosts!!!
In past years, I decorated this 6 foot white Tree for Easter.......
This year, I decided to leave up the Tree that I decorated for Autumn......
For Christmas......
And for Valentine's.......
And decorate it for Easter......
The reason why I did not pack it away until next Fall is because we are planning to have new windows installed this Spring/Summer..........again..........for the second time!!!!
My "New" windows are now 31 years old!!!
So instead of bringing the white Tree down from the Sitting Room where I had it decorated for Christmas, I decided to leave this Tree up, decorate it for Easter, then pack it away and bring the white Tree down once the new windows are installed......
Then the white Tree will be decorated as my Patriotic Tree for the Summer......
So I stripped down the Tree once again.......
Leaving just the lights on and adding several sets of Easter Egg lights tot he Tree.......
I then added 2 sets of 2 different styles of egg garland.......
I use the same bow made out of purple and aqua deco mesh ribbon and an Easter ribbon that I made and used in previous years........
I also used the same egg and floral topper as in past years......
There are streamers of white, purple and aqua deco mesh ribbon coming down the Tree........
Next, I started to add my Easter ornaments.......
I must admit that the decorations do seem to show up better on this Tree rather then on the white Tree......
There are lots of Bunnies.......
And loads of Easter egg ornaments......
A few chicks......
Crosses.....
Vintage style small Easter pillow ornaments.....
Ducks......
Vintage style Easter Plaques....
I have collected these ornaments over many years.....
I also tucked faux Easter flowers into the Tree.....
Did I mention that there are all kind of Easter Egg ornaments on this Tree......
Since I decided to leave this Tree up and decorate it for Easter, I also decided to leave the platform that it is resting on up too!!!!
Meaning that I would have to decorate it so I created a bit of a Bunnyland.......
A lot of the eggs are crystalized and are reflecting the flash from the camera..........
So I did take some photos without the flash......
This is one of the photos taken without the flash......
And this is what Bunny Land under the Tree looks like with out the flash.....
On the left side of the Tree.....
This pretty Lady Bunny.....
In front of the Bunny is a floral arrangement that I did in this tin Easter bucket.....
The bright pink bunny above is one I had as a child......
A vintage style Easter egg......
A Bunny family sits on a bench in front of the Tree......
Mr. Rabbit......
And Mrs. Rabbit......
In front of the bench.......
Egg boxes that I embellished and pink carrots that I bought at Michael's....
Another vintage style egg.......
Over o the left side of the Tree........
A nice Dapper Bunny......
Another Easter tin bucket with a floral arrangement that I made.......
And this is my childhood Easter basket!!!
The bow on it is the same bow that my Mother tied to it when I was a child......
I filled it with ceramic faux candy eggs and bunnies.....
So this is how I decorated underneath my Easter Tree......
I think I like this Tree decorated for Easter better than the white Tree.......
I think everything shows up better in the green Tree compared to the white one, don't you????
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I decorated a bit differently for Easter this year in the Living Room......
I still have more Easter decorations in the Living Room to share with you, including 2 more Easter Trees in the Living Room......
And Winter is still hanging on with a tight grip here in NEPA!!
We were "brushed" with yet the 3rd Nor' Easter to hit the east coast last night..........
This is what it looked like in our back yard at 7am on March 13th......
It did not come too far inland so we only got an additional 3 1/2 inches of snow.....
In the front of our house , taken from the front porch.......
I know it does look pretty but even I, who usually never complains about snow and Winter, am getting a bit tired of it!!
It could be worse though because a year ago tomorrow, my house looked like this!!!
22 inches of snow fell that day at my house!!!
It was the Blizzard of 2017!!!
It is also the 25th anniversary of the Blizzard of 1993 which dumped well OVER 2 feet of snow on the east coast including NEPA!!
It is still known as the Storm of the Century......
I always say that some of our best snow storms come in March.......
Hopefully, not this year ..........Because March still is not over yet!!
I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

So much eye candy! Thanks for sharing all the inspirational decor. I thought I'd did it up on my mantle, but I don't even come close compared to any area of yours. So very pretty and festive.
ReplyDeleteYour trees are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLots of Easter goodies for sure. I love the Easter boxes. Great idea for my grand girls. So many pretties.
ReplyDeleteI know you MUST be tired of snow. You have your share of it for sure and constantly cleaning walkways and your cars, what a cold chore. We had snow yesterday and now mostly all gone. I hope Spring comes very soon to your area.

Having an Easter tree is such a fun idea... I love all the joyful little decorations..They really make me smile... Love those little boxes and stuffed bunnies( ha Ha).... I’m alittle tired of the snow too.. but hopefully we have only a few more weeks left until Spring.... Thanks for the HAPPY post....Hugs
ReplyDeleteI really like it on the green tree too, things seem to pop out better instead of just blending in to the white background. cute decorating under it also, glad you didn't get as much snow as you did the year before.
ReplyDeleteYour darling Easter tree is so sweet. I love all your trees though. Our weather has been a bit nippy in mornings but pretty during the day. You never know bout Florida weather though. Hugs and blessings sweet lady.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Beautiful Easter tree and decorations as always, Debbie! I still like the white tree best, even though your decorations appear to show up better on the green one. It must be the lighting on the white tree. Anyway, they both look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I love the Easter tree. I love bunnies. Thanks for sharing your snow.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to look at! Stay warm.
Your Easter decors are very pretty. I love all the easter eggs on the fabulous tree.
ReplyDeleteHugs
So many wonderful Easter pretties, Debbie! Love seeing them all on your fabulous tree. Old Man Winter is not giving up, yet! Keep cozy! Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteThese are so much fun! I love seeing all these different ideas! A few years ago I started blowing eggs and decorating them, so I've started blowing eggs and using the silk tie dye method and putting them on a tree at Easter time. I love it! This gives me more ideas. :) #embracingchangelinky
ReplyDeleteYou've outdone yourself again, Debbie! Your Easter tree is so fun & festive! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteYour seasonal trees are always terrific, Debbie! I featured this from Beautifully Made Link Party in my weekly newsletter that went out today. Thanks for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing collection of easter trinkets and things.
ReplyDeleteMaria
Your Easter tree is adorable! You have tons of decorations...now my tree is feeling a bit naked! I really like the egg garland...so cute!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs, Carol
Your Easter tree is so fun! I love it!! Thanks for sharing with Thursday Favorite Things, we are so happy you joined us !
ReplyDeleteYour tree is amazing. So many adorable items to look at. All of your bunnies are so cute. Good luck with your new windows and hope that winter is coming to an end.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Bev
Your Easter tree is truly amazing Debbie! The bunny land you created it just adorable! As with any beautifully decorated tree, you could sit for hours looking at all the pretty ornaments! Hope that snow melts soon and that spring will be on it's way! Take care of you and Joe!
ReplyDeleteI really can't decide which one I like better. I do think the decor shows up better on the green tree. They are both adorable. You have been hammered with snow. I hope you have had all you're going to get. Thanks for linking up to Keep In Touch.
ReplyDeleteThat is such an adorable tree! I love all the little bunny faces. Pinned.
ReplyDeleteLove your tree Debbie! I was planning on doing a Spring/Easter tree but didn't think it would look good with my base green tree. Boy was I wrong! Yours is so adorable! I suppose I better get to checing out the clearance items after Easter in hopes of doing one next year.
ReplyDeleteDebbie your trees always bring a smile to my face. This darling tree is truly EGGcellent. Thank you so very much for linking to the Spring and Easter Joys party. Have a very Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteIt is entirely possible that the Easter Tree is my favorite. I love the Patriotic tree too but the pastels associated with Spring create such a sweet feeling. I had to chuckle when you said y'all 'only' got 3 1/2 inches of snow! It has been a brutal winter there. Hoping some real spring weather is there soon!
