I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

What I Have Been Buying Lately!

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....

I feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I was....

I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

And with that being said, MONDAY'S post will not be posted until TUESDAY morning....

What can I say but life happens....

Today, I am going to share a few things that I have bought over the past 2 months or so as I have not done a Haul in awhile....

Ollies....

The solar lights that I had had on the front porch railing died this year so I bought new ones....

I attached them to the railing using zip ties, along with this faux garland that I found in my stash....

And here it is lit up in the evening....

The candles are good for the outdoors and work by remote and can be put on a 6 hour timer which is what I did with the one I put in the lamp post, which has not worked in over a year, in the front of my house.....

And here it is in the evening.....

I also used a candle in this lantern on the front porch....

And also in this one....

And since I got 2 sets, I used 2 out on the back patio.....

These I turn on using the remote and not the timer to save the batteries.......

In my Previous post, I shared that I bought this set of 4 dessert plates in Ollies.....

I also bought these as I have a lot of these garden tools but since my late husband Joe was not careful with my "toys", he frequently left them out in the elements and they are rusted and dull.....

I actually used the one on the left on Saturday as I cut back all the Missouri primrose in the back yard now that it is done blooming.....

I bought all these items at Ollies using a 15% off coupon!!

Gabes

Gabes has really upped their game and lately, cleaned up and organized the one that I go to.....

Maybe a new manager....

I bought these things for the front porch....

This little folding table for exta space to put magazines on or even my lap top.....

A new mail box cover for the faux mail box that holds some garden tools....

And I picked up these that were on Clearance after Easter.....

I loved this egg because it lights up.....

And I decided to keep it out for the Summer and placed it in a vintage milk glass compote bowl in the Dining Room....

And I put this sweet Bunny salt and pepper shaker set away for next Easter....

I had also bought these Strawberry items......

And I already shared where I used them.....

On the desk area of my Kitchen hutch.....

When I shared my Kitchen decorated on a Roos/Hen theme for early Summer, I shared this hen plate I bought in Gabes....

Not long after I bought that, I found a matching set of salt and pepper shakers that I snatched up!!!!

I could not resist these bright colored toad stool stakes that I placed in 2 of my pots out in the Patio filled with the faux flowers that I ordered in the Spring.....

And I just bought this pretty mini flag to use out front because I am a sucker for red cardinals....

My favorite "Shop with Me' You Tube personality is The Queen and recently she taped a Fall Merch video and a Halloween Merch video at a new Gabes store by her and she really loved the store....

Walmart Online....

I honestly do not like to shop in store at Walmart but I do like to shop online at Walmart because they are often cheaper for the same products than Amazon!!

I ordered these items to deal with the tropical dew points and 90 degrees weather that we have been having here in NEPA lately....

Several years ago, I did buy myself one of these wonderful neck fans but mine is now in rough shape but great to use as a spare....

This is made by the same company as my old one but is now slimmer and 5 speeds rather than only 3 speeds....

I wear this fan even in the house especially when I am cooking dinner but I really use it almost every time I walk outside to do something in the yard....

I also saw this on Good Morning America one day and found it on Walmart's site and ordered it.....

You can soak it in boiling water but when you wring it out and shake it, it gets nice and cold!!!

I actually wore this on Saturday as I was dying of heat out in the back yard, cutting back those Missouri primrose.....

As soon as it would get warm, I would shake it and it was nice and cold again!!!

I still have to put up the new shades that I bought for my bedroom last Fall and after putting up the new one in the Living Room where I had to install new brackets as the brackets were different from the old ones that I put up many years ago, I decided that I was not going to do it manually again....

So I bought me one of these to save my arthritic hands some grief.....

Because of my moderate to severe Scoliosis in my back, I suffer from L (Lumbar) 5-6 Radiculopathy that causes my toes and half my feet to go numb when I lay down.....

I bought these to help with that as it can also get a bit painful like a neuropathy....

And I am happy to say that they do help!!

They also work great when putting on nail polish...

Ocean State Job Lot

As a Father's Day/Graduation Special, Ocean State Job Lot had an offer that if you bought a $100 Gift Card, you received a Crazy Deal Gift card for $30 for FREE!!

Joe always bought one and so have I over the past year.....

I then was able to use the gift card to buy this LED light and bug zapper for the front porch....

You can turn them on independently of each other or together and comes with a USB charger....

You can also hang it which I want to do out on the back patio when I buy another one!!

Dollar Tree

Well, I have not been there for some time and was surprised to see their new pricing BUT I can understand because the new tariffs are increasing the prices on everything so they do have to pass it on to the Consumer like so many businesses are being forced to do.....

These were $1.25.....

Okay, let me explain!!

I have decided to leave Christmas up in the Craft Room and the Sitting Room....

I missed my opportunity to do it when it was cool in those rooms and up in the attic where the tubs are stored for those rooms....

And I am not going up in the attic where it must be 120 degrees and in those rooms which are in the mid 80's as I do not have air conditioners in those rooms....

In the Summer, I decorate my Sitting Room in a garden theme with a Fairy Land displayed on the mantel of my faux fire place.....

I still have not decided what to do with the large galvanized tub on the back Patio where I used to display a Fairy Village....

So when I saw these cuties for only $1.25 a piece, I decided that I was going to use them somehow in that tub....

So stay tuned for that....

I was happy I scored this resin wood looking tray that sort of resembles a dough bowl after seeing it on a few You tube sites...

A few days later....GONE!!

It went viral!!

The red flowers on my wreaths for Summer and the Patriotic Holidays always seem to fade in the Sun on the front porch so I bought these to replace them.....

2 bunches with 7 blooms ( which is more than usual) for $1.75 a piece...

Now I had my eye on this since last Fall but it went viral after the You Tube "Shop with Me" videos featured it....

It was $5!!

I bought the one with the leaf for a handle rather than the pumpkin....

The wood is unfinished so I am consider staining it or putting a sealant on it....

Amazon

I am not an Amazon shopper as I seem to find things cheaper in brick and mortar stores or online else where like Walmart.....

And NO!

I did not buy these things during Prime Days!!

I have used a plastic step stool/seat for many years and the plastic is cracking from over use....

I found this folding one on Amazon....

Truth be told, I do NOT even have an Amazon Account which I know is causing many to gasp in disbelief!!

I had my son Joey order it for me...

It holds 300 pounds so I should be good!!

I actually saw these on a FB reel.....

I ordered 2 of them but where I originally planned on using them did not work out as I thought they had a remote....

You charge them with a USB charger....

They have 3 light settings ( Warm White, Cool White and a mix of both) that can be dimmed and you operate them by the touch button....

I put one in the Powder Room to use as a night light.....

And the other is in my bedroom on this table at the bottom of my bed, next to a chair....

It provides a nice light in the middle of the room!!!

I would have had to run an extension cord under my bed to put a lamp on this table so this worked out great!!!

Boscov's Online

Now I did shop Boscov's online during Prime Days....

I actually bought these Easy Spirit Sandals about 2 weeks ago for what I thought was a great price of $34.95....

They have a little bit of glitz to them and they are so darn comfortable....

So when I saw them on sale for only $29.95, I bought the other 2 colors....

Solid black....

And I love these denim like ones, also with a bit of glitz to them....

I only wear Easy Spirit backless shoes because of multiple foot problems including heel spurs which I have not had an issue with since I started wearing backless shoes almost 20 years ago...

And last but not least, I did recently share that I ordered this Memorial Stone in memory of Joe!!
