Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

If you would like to Pin my pictures, please click on them to enlarge them to do so....
A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have
a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to
spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

And now for a few Personal Notes...
And I have to say Good Riddance as it has not been a good month for me with all the heat and humidity and my GI issues....
I have good days and not so good days and I am waiting to see my PCP on Monday, August 4th...
I do have an appointment with my Gastroenterologist on August 13th...
I have kissed it all up to God and whatever it is, we will deal with it....
I was feeling well enough this week to pack up all of my Patriotic decorations from the Living Room, clean and decorate the Living Room in my late Summer "Under the Sea" Coastal Theme.....
I figured that I might as well since I was stuck in the house due to yet another heat wave with 3 days over 90 degrees and near tropical humidity...
Thank Goodness a cool down is expected to start today and go into the weekend....
Today, I am going to share how I decorated the top of the TV Entertainment Center, which I treat like a "Mantel" in my late Summer "Under the Sea" Coastal theme....
I like to call this area "Piratess Cove" as I was inspired by movies like.....

"Hook"
I loved "The Goonies".....
And "Pirates of the Caribbean "......
Several years ago, I made a lot of the decorations for this area......

This year, I did not feel like crawling up in the attic, which is like an inferno with the heat that we have been having, to look for the 3 ft. Tree that I used in the past for this area.....
Instead, I decided to refresh a wreath that I made several years ago.....
First, let's take a look at the left side.....
I recently bought the aqua colored fish at Gabes and I made the Buried Treasure Map a few years ago....
As I mentioned before, this year I decided to use a wreath on a stand in the center....
Now I made this wreath quite some time ago.....
I added lights to it and placed a ship's steering wheel or helm, that I also made, in the center of it.....
I placed a ship in the middle with 2 bottles filled with sand and shells on each side of it....
On the right side....
Another fish....
And another sign I made, The Pirates Cove Hangout...
I left up the evergreen garland, using it as a base, adding an aqua and white pip berry garland to it....

Then I decorated it with an assortment of ornaments that I made over the last few years....
Adding fairy lights to it....
My son Joey installed this Roku screen saver for me.....
Now we are going to take a look at what is in front of the TV Entertainment Center....
I use part of the center where DVD players and other obsolete equipment was housed, to display some of the gifts given to me by my son Jim and DIL Danielle.....
On the floor.....
On top of the chest, which I think looks like a treasure chest....
Another bottle filled with sand and shells and binoculars....
Another sign I made....
An aqua colored glass bowl filled with shells and a rolled up Treasure Map....

In front of the chest....
Are 2 vintage mason jars filled with shells....
Can you see that the ribbon has sea horses on it????
And that is what my "Pirates Cove" looks like for this year....
I hope you enjoyed seeing it....

And once again, GOOD BYE to July!!!

I am so looking forward to Fall.....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY for my next post....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
