Our heat wave, which is 3 days above 90 degrees for NEPA, is OVER!!!!
It is nice and cool today so I hope to get a bit of yard work done...
I would like it in the high 70's compared to those 85 degree temps. though...
The Killer here in NEPA is the humidity and dew points which have been in the tropical range....
I do not do well physically in this humidity and pretty much did not go out of the house unless I had to for the past few days...
I pray this was the last heat wave of the Summer but I doubt that....
Today, I am going to finish up my tour of the Dining Room that I decorated as a Tea Room for the Summer.....
I left off here in this corner with my Tea Table.....
Working my way around what I call my most Victorian looking room in my 1970's built townhouse.....
The wall that is behind the Dining Room table.....
On the left side of the large Home Interiors picture called "May I Play?"
Everything here , except for the Home Interiors pair of mirrored sconces, was thrifted....
I bought the pretty plates at a church flea market and the vintage Lefton cherub plaques ( 4 of them) at a yard sale.....
A large swag I made along with a big bow, a chord and a fringed lace scarf top off the top of the picture.....
Same on the right side of the picture.....
My late husband Joe gifted me this picture frame many years ago......
Pictures of ancestors and "Instant Relatives" ( bought at flea markets) are displayed in the 3 frames....
On a shelf is a Home Interiors Victorian Lady figurine....
In the corner by the Kitchen.....
I decorate this vintage Funeral Basket, gifted to me by my friend Anne Marie, for the different Seasons and Holidays....
Pink flowers for Spring and Summer grace it now.....
Below it on the marble topped stand......
There are lighted branches in the floral arrangement......
To the right of the Curio....
A rose floral swag.....
This heart pillow was gifted to me by a friend.....
I hung this stained glass window panel in the pass through from the Kitchen to the Dining Room, creating a window in a windowless Dining Room.....
It reminds me of the stained glass windows in Victorian homes....
There is a lamp on the counter bar on the other side in the Kitchen that makes it look like this.....
Another Thomas Kinkade Pink Lady, titled "Style Spun from Grace"
I decided to decorate this Victorian style feather Tree with mini tea cups and tea pots.....
Floral patterned lamp shades that I embellished.....
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
