Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

If you would like to Pin my pictures, please click on them to enlarge them to do so....
A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have
a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to
spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the Hutch in the Dining Room for the Summer using my Moss Rose China Collection.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!
Thanks so much, Sue!!
I
want to Thank Andrea, over at the Cottage Market, for choosing my post,
Patriotic Crafts Over the Years, as one of her features from last
week's A Morning Cup of Joe Link Party!!

Thanks once again, Andrea!!
Please stop by and link up to these wonderful parties!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
I know many of you live where it gets much hotter than this but I live in NEPA and it should NOT be this hot here!!
My NIGHTMARE now begins!!
I am NOT a Summer lover because of the heat and sun sensitivity caused by my auto immune issues.....
I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and even though my blood work numbers are within normal range because of the daily medication I take, I still have these symptoms in the Summer....
I also suffer from sinus issues in the Summer....
I have been dealing with that for about a week now, even calling my dentist for tooth pain...
Since it is not related to food, hot and cold and I did not get any pain during a dental tooth cleaning last week, he feels it is sinus related...
I do have another appointment with him this coming week just to be sure....
I have been taking my Tylenol Sinus, Afrin and saline nasal sprays and Benadryl at night which leaves me feeling tired all day to combat this...
The tooth pain has finally stopped but I am going to the dentist next week to have it checked out as it is by a molar...
So I have not really accomplished much this past week as I had to give myself some Grace!!
I always say that my Dining Room is my most Victorian looking room in my 1970's built townhouse that I like to think looks like my very own Victorian style Bed and Breakfast!!

In the time frame after Easter til the end of September when I decorate it for Halloween, I decorate the Dining Room in a Tea Room theme.....

Today, I will be sharing the Dining Room Buffet......

But first, let's take a look at the corner wall.....

The Dining Room has no windows, as I live in a townhouse, so I have embraced the use of a lot of lamps, mostly vintage.....
The walls are painted a rose color above the chair rail and a forest green below it to match the wall paper border.....

A Home Interiors picture and floral swag...
I found these metal magnolia flowers at a yard sale a long time ago and immediately grabbed them as they also match the wall paper border in this room.....
On a Home Interiors shelf....
Thomas Kinkade Pink Ladies, "Every Day Brings Hope Collection", having a cup of Tea!!
See the Swarovski crystals on these Lady's hats and dresses......
Stunning....

One of my Victorian dolls.....

I made the tussie mussie hanging in the corner....

More Home Interiors pictures and shelves....
A Thomas Kinkade plate to the left of this shelf where I displayed some of my Tea Cup Collection....
Some vintage...some new....

I have done the Buffet a bit differently this year....

On the left side....

I bought this vintage hurricane lamp at a church flea market....
A pink depression glass biscuit jar....
A Victorian Calling Card, gifted to me by my late friend Anne Marie, and a tea bag holder....
Cups and saucers from a Moss Rose Child's Tea Set.......
A spoon with roses on the handle.....
This year, I placed this tiered serving dish on a gold mercury glass pedestal....
A sterling silver tea strainer with white lace gloves and a vintage brooch....
More faux pastry and sterling silver tongs that were a gift from a friend....
The scarf that I used is made of rose colored toile fabric with a venice lace trim that I added to it....
It was bought from a friend who sells these at local Craft Fairs....
In the center....
A picture of my late husband Joe's Maternal Grandparents on a Home Interiors shelf....
Tea pot ornaments on each side of the picture....
A Tea Set that I bought many years ago in T J Maxx.....
I placed the tea pot on top of a pink depression glass dish on top of a cake pedestal.....
The matching sugar bowl and creamer that I filled with tea bags....
One of my books on Tea with a tea strainer to the right....
A pink depression glass dish filled with faux cupcakes that I bought a long time ago at the Christmas Tree Shop....
On the right side....
I also bought this tiered stand at the Christmas Tree Shop a long time ago......

I wrapped a wired rose garland, bought at a yard sale, around it.....

The china I used in this display is the china I bought before I got married 47 years ago....
I bought different pieces of it every week at Acme Markets.....
It is called Summer Rose and was made by Johann Haviland China in Bavaria, Germany....
I have all these pieces and dinner ware for 8.....
Oddly, Johann Haviland also made a version of the Moss Rose china that I have in my Dining Room Hutch!
More faux pastries on the top tier along with a pink depression glass dish and another Victorian Calling Card....
On the other tiers.....
Rose handled spoons....
Another faux pastry......
Another sterling silver tea strainer along with a pink depression glass candy dish....

One more Victorian Calling Card and another tea bag holder.....
I had a lot of fun setting this display up this year.....
It is what I envisioned seeing in a Tea Room which, unfortunately, we do not have around here anymore....
Now I will get to the "More" part mentioned in the title of this post....
Between the Hutch, which I shared in my previous post, and the Buffet, is a small Curio that was my late neighbor Elly's....
Above the Curio....
A vintage fan plate and a Home Interiors shelf....
A Home Interiors ceramic Victorian Lady...
On top of the Curio....
I bought these large brass candlesticks at a church flea market last year!!
A vintage demitasse cup and saucer along with tea pot ornaments...
And a Moss Rose butter pat...

Another pair of lace gloves...

"Instant Relatives" ( bought the picture at a flea market) are in the picture frame.....

The brass fans were bought at a yard sale about 20+ years ago.....

More of my Victorian Doll Collection....
And this is where I will leave off for today.....
