Welcome to Saturday Snippets....
In my last post, I started to share how I decorated the Kitchen for Winter .....
It has been a bit since I shared any pictures of our twin grand daughters.....
These are from my son Jim's FB site...
They have grown so much in the month since we last saw them in person....
Liliana is wearing the pink caps....
Gianna is sporting the white caps....
They wear the caps because it helps them to maintain their body heat.....
Plus it helps to tell them apart as they are identical......
Jim and Danielle have managed this first month on their own and we are so proud of them....
Jim will be going back to work as his one month Paternity leave will be over soon so it was important that they have this time together to bond with the Twins and the grand pups ......
We are looking forward to seeing the Twins again in person soon.....
Nelson Crest, my Victorian doll house, is all decked out for the Winter....
The left side yard....
I left up the wreaths and garland for the Winter.....
Snowmen and a sled in the yard.....
Right side yard....
Nelson Crest will stay decorated like this until March when I will decorate her for Easter....
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I decorated it for Winter this year......
I packed away the last of Christmas in the downstairs yesterday and I will be cleaning the Dining Room and decorating it for Valentine's today.....
I am only about 1-2 days behind where I was last year and I hope to finish up tomorrow....
I will start taking down Christmas in the upstairs next week but there is no hurry for that so I will be taking my time.....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY when I finish my Tour of the Kitchen decorated for Winter.....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

OH MY, your babies are so precious and beautiful! And growing like weeds, lol. They are so alert for their age! I think they are getting a lot of attention from their parents. I love their little caps, they are just so adorable. I did not realize they are identical. That makes it tricky. I was pretty good with identicals when I was a 4H leader. I would study and notice little hints - for example, we had mirror twin girls. One left handed, one right. The left handed girl had four letters in her name and the right handed girl had five letters in her name (conveniently). I would hand them a pencil. What a wonderful time in all your lives!
ReplyDeleteI have put all the elves and Santa to bed in my dollhouse. My granddaughter came over to check on them and was happy to see all the Christmas items packed away. BUT - the kitchen table hinge lost two screws about a quarter of the size of a grain of rice. I actually found them on the kitchen floor and put them on the coffee table hoping my husband can see well enough to fix the table. She immediately spotted the screws and think they belong to the toy making. I'm not sure how I can explain their disappearance if the table is repaired.
Nelson Crest looks good but the stars of the show are those two adorable little babies! They make me smile!
ReplyDeleteThose babies are just darling!! Cute as a button. I love the hats. My sister had twins and when they were little they had one nail on each foot painted a different color. It's silly to think about it now, but back then, I remember having to remove the socks to see who I fed last when I was babysitting!! Haha!! So funny!! Enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see some baby sweetness! Darling outfits too. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletePJ,
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by!! Glad you enjoyed seeing the twins... I hope you are having a great week!!

Deb

What adorable photos of your twin granddaughters! I think that's really smart to put different color hats on them to tell them apart. Nelson Crest is so beautiful! It would be fun to live there.
