My Dining Room, to me, is the most Victorian looking room in my 1970's built townhouse.....

So why not style it like a "Tea Room" for the Summer.....

I already shared how I set up the Dining Room Buffet as if it was in a "Tea Room"....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I did move a few things around since this post.....

I switched Victorian dolls....

And a switched the sugar and creamers around and added some lights to the buffet....

It adds a bit more ambience in the evening.....

Next to the buffet is a small curio....

 Above the curio.......

On a Home Interiors shelf which I feel are just perfect to display for the Summer in a "Tea Room"!!

One of my Home Interiors Victorian Ladies....

On top of the curio....

 A book about Tea.....

A vintage tea cup and saucer....

 A Thomas Kinkade Pink Lady....

A vintage demitasse cup and saucer....

On the floor in front of the curio....

I embellished this wood box in the shape of a Tea Pot last year.....

Another Victorian doll.....

On top of the Hutch....

More Home Interiors Victorian Ladies.....

And a miniature Victorian house....

One more book on Tea....

And another Victorian house and Victorian Lady.....

In the Fall/Winter, I changed up the Hutch in the Dining Room, removing my Collection of Moss Rose dishes and replaced it with some of my red transferware and ruby red depression glass........

This is how it looked at Christmas......

And for Valentine's Day.....

Before Easter, I changed it back to the Moss Rose dishes and left a few pieces of ruby red depression glass pieces....

Top Shelf....

Middle Shelf..
.

Bottom Shelf....

With the glass doors in.....

On the side of the Hutch...

Hanging on the vintage window divider....

2 heart plaques that I made....

A vintage milk glass compote bowl placed on top of a pink depression glass plate on top of a cake pedestal....

Another pink depression glass candy dish...

2 birds and a porcelain rose....

In my last post, I shared a Tea Table in the Dining Room decorated for the Summer in a "Tea Room" theme....

Where I put my vintage milk glass punch bowl this year....

And how I decorated the chandy with mini tea cups and tea pots....

Click HERE if you missed that post....

I did move this doll over on the floor by the Tea table....

In the corner near the Kitchen....

On top of the larger curio...

Tea cups on the vintage scale....

On the shelf on the side of the curio is another Home Interiors Victorian Lady.....

Pink and white flowers in the Funeral Basket...

A pin cushion I made from a demitasse cup and saucer along with a vintage milk glass candlestick that matches the compote bowl I showed previously...

The pictures in the photo frame are of my Maternal Grandmother and Great Grandmother....

Inside the curio....

On top of the cabinet that my Dad made to match Joe's Grandmother's vintage Dining Room furniture....

The vintage cherub candle holders were bought in Salvation Army.....

The picture in this photo frame is of my Maternal Grandparents....

A vintage trinket box marked Norleans Japan...

In the center is a vintage crystal compote bowl with a pink mercury glass stemmed votive inside of it....

The picture in this frame is of my maternal Grandmother and my Mother....

There is no label on this vintage trinket box.....

And that completes my tour of the Dining Room decorated as a "Tea Room" for the Summer....

I may change things up a bit after a month or two so stay tuned but otherwise, I will keep this theme until it is time to decorate the Dining Room for Halloween!!

On FRIDAY, I will be starting my Tour of the Kitchen decorated in a "Roos and Hens" theme for Late Spring /Early Summer....

A few Sneak Peeks of the Kitchen.....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on FRIDAY as I have lots of things to share including a few new things!!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  1. Anyone would LOVE to enjoy a cuppa tea with you in that beautiful room….the way your display your dishes in those cabinets is awesome…such a lovely collection of figurines, too. Your hard work shows off in all the details and makes one want to come back each time to see what you’ve created next! I have so many collections, but none displayed as lovely as you, Debbie….it’s always a pleasure to visit you here, thanks and have a great week. xo, V.

  5. There are so many pretty things to look at in your dining room. I especially like the gold fans and the lace toppers for the table and shelves. They inspire me to imagine a group of gracious Victorian ladies having tea on a spring afternoon. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 64.
