I am now posting TWICE  a week !!!

I will be posting on MONDAY and FRIDAY!

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be sharing a bit more "dabbling" that I have been doing with Easter Decor even though I intended to share the rest of the Living Room today...

Just did not get a chance to take more pictures as I really wanted to finish taking down Winter/Valentine's decor and get the down stairs decorated for Easter and returned to "normal"....

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!

If you missed my Saint Patrick's Day decorations in the Den......

We really do not celebrate it with having corned beef and cabbage as none of us like either of those!!

Since it is Friday, we will be having potato pancakes and pizza!!!

In my last post, I shared 2 of the Easter Trees in my Living Room!!

A few Personal Notes...

Well, I told you I was not going to hold my breath on that last "Snow Storm"....

Good thing I didn't as it didn't come as far East to give us anything but a dusting....

Yet another Dud...

I have pretty much given up on having any type of Winter this year....

But we did get a few inches of snow in April last year but I am ready to Kiss Winter Good Bye for this year....

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I managed to get the downstairs decorated for Easter even though I have been fighting a Cold for a week and a half now....

My son, Joey, now has it too....

We have both kept testing negative for Covid....

A few Sneak Peeks....

Easter....

The Dining Room

The Kitchen

And I actually managed to return the Powder Room back to "normal".....

I do have a few Easter decorations that I will put out in the Powder Room later today.....

In my last post, I shared my new glasses...

I take absolutely terrible Selfies so I had Joe take these pics....

Last June 1st, I started out on my Journey to Live a more Healthier Life and take back control of my life....

You can read about it HERE....

I have now lost 45 pounds and I have no idea how many inches but I know I have also lost those too!!

What a difference.....

Not only in my appearance but also in the way I feel....

I have more energy, can move better and now can even walk for exercise which I thought I would never do again...

I hope to lose 15 more pounds by June 1st....

Time will tell....

I did a bit of "dabbling" with a few Dollar Tree and Big Lot's Easter items....

First, those from Dollar Tree....

I should have bought more of these cute stuffed Bunnies....

All I did was add a bow from ribbons I had in my stash.....

And added a few ribbon flowers....

I think I may need to go back to see if they have any more.....

I placed her in a macrame Easter Basket that my Mother gifted me a very long time ago.....

I also bought this sign....

And these carrots at Dollar Tree.....

Along with a burlap ribbon bow that I took off another sign I had, I simply glued a few carrots to this sign to give it more of a 3 dimensional look.....

I hung it above my Easter Tree in the Kitchen.....

Carrots are the theme for Easter in the Kitchen....

Joe bought a few of things in Big Lot's last year on Clearance....

To say the least!!!

He has been given strict orders not to buy anymore....

I will not hold my breath on that though!!

This sweet Bunny was a mere 60 cents!!!

I added some trim to it...

Along with some ribbon flowers and pink eggs.....

Much better, I think!!

I had this sign that my friend Anne Marie gifted me a few years ago.....

I trimmed it with some pink tinsel trim to enhance it's vintage look.....

I hung both of these on the window divider in the Dining Room.....

This was another sign from Big Lot's......

It was 80 cents!!!

I had bought some chenille trim at an estate sale.....

The white one was perfect for Bunny Ears!!!!

I made bows from peach silk ribbon and added white ribbon roses....

Along with some carrots on the bottom.....

Here is where I have it on display....

I think it goes well with the Easter Bunnies I made from dish towels last year...

My friend Anne Marie gifted me these cute Bunny stakes when she came for a visit a few weeks ago....

I added bows and a ribbon rose to them....

I placed them, along with 2 other Bunny Head picks bought at Dollar Tree.....

In my Funeral Basket that I now have decorated for Easter in the Dining Room.....

If you missed what I did with these......

All from Dollar Tree....

I still want to make some stuffed carrot bags for the kitchen......

And I have these wood carrots to paint....

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I embellished a few Easter signs, putting my own "stamp" on them....

This weekend is supposed to be a bit colder and rainy so I will be taking down the Winter decorations outside in the beginning of next week when it is supposed to hit 50 degrees...

I usually do not decorate the outside too much for Easter but I will be using a few of the things this year that Joe bought last year for 90% off in Big Lot's.....

Along with these new mini flags I bought recently at Ollies....

Stay tuned....

In my next post on MONDAY, I will definitely be sharing the rest of the Living Room decorated for Easter.....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on  MONDAY!!

  1. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Spring arrives next week and I really hope spring weather arrives too. It is raining today, hopefully washing away some snow. Patches of ground starting to show up, and I can see some tulips poking through the ground. Hope you are getting better each day, colds can be terrible, but thank goodness you are testing negative for Covid. Have a wonderful weekend.

  8. I've pretty much given up on any real substantial snow up here this year too and am ready for spring now; in fact I think I'd be a bit peeved if we got hit with a huge storm now (winter had it's chance! LOL). All your dabbled projects are so cute!!
