Today I will be sharing a few changes that my friend Anne Marie made to her home after Christmas for Winter....

In my last post, I shared my Annual Winter/Valentine's Home Tour.....

I want to Thank Linda, over at Life and Linda, for choosing my post, Valentine's Trees, Crafts and More Decor in the Dining Room, as one of her features from last week's Love Your Creativity Linky Party!!

Thanks so much, Linda!!

 Thanks again, Dee!

Please stop by and link up to these lovely parties!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I went for an Eye Exam yesterday.....

I had out it off for 4 years....

I am thrilled that my mild cataracts remain mild and there is no need for surgety right now and maybe not needed for a few years...

YEAH!!

I would rather have major abdominal surgery or my other knee replaced rather than have eye surgery while awake...

I ordered new glasses.....

I am looking forward to a new look!!

Last week, I made an easy dish at Joe's request which is a rarity as he never requests any type of food for dinner....

I made up 2 packages of Beef Rice-a-Roni and mixed them in with ground beef and a can of mushrooms....

On Friday, Joey treated us to Deep Dish Brick Oven Pizza from Whatinthe Sam Hill's Pizza, a local place about 10 minutes away....

One pie with bacon on it....

And the other plain....

And Joey got an order of boneless chicken bites in mild sauce for himself....

So good!!!

In that post, I mentioned that Anne Marie landed in the hospital for IV antibiotic treatment of an infection in her finger...

This condition is still plaguing her with swelling and drooping of part of her finger....

She didn't feel like doing a whole lot different for Winter this year which is quite understandable....

This is what she wrote to me.....

I really didn’t do much of anything.

I left the mantle and the cocoa bar the same.

The Hutch is the same.

2 Bearington Bears holding snowmen are on the table next to the wall unit...

Just put a couple snowmen in the wall unit in the Living Room but nothing spectacular.

The wall unit.....

The crib that Debbie gave me has my Bedtime Bearington Bears and twigs with snowballs on them and other snowballs,

The Dining Room table has my Winter Bears on it that have the ice skates.

I lined up a few of my mirrored plateaus to look like ice and surrounded with “snow” and snowballs

 But that’s about it....

I didn’t even change the top of the side-by-side....

Just didn’t feel up to it.

I think she did a fantastic job under the circumstances with her finger and working full time....

Don't you???

Please tell her so in the comments.....

I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY!!!

  1. Keeping Ann Marie in my prayers. What a mess with her finger. I hope it resolves soon! Happy Valentine's Day to both of you.

  2. What a gorgeous home. I hope your Valentine's day was lovely. Between company last week, prepping for a Cork Poppers do, an ear and/or sinus infection, and then this week's mass shooting in our town, I'm so behind blog reading, I'll never catch up! I'll try to take a look at all but not comment and hopefully be back on schedule this week!
